Beachfront holiday rental in Stoney Island

We were so pleased with our stay! Beautiful location, wonderful sandy bottom lake, privacy, comfort, very well equipped kitchen. We will definitely book again!

The place was wonderful and well equipped. It was in beautiful condition and there so many convenience items available. It felt fresh and comfortable. We enjoyed walking to the beach, the hot tub and the fire pit area. A great spot to unwind.

Arrived late and only got to spend enough time in the yurt to sleep but hope to be back and enjoy it during daylight hours! It’s in a very rural area right on the seaside. The only downside is that there were two small lights, so next time we’ll be sure to bring head lamps!

Jackie’s place is amazing!!!!! You will not be disappointed. The home has absolutely everything you need, along with an amazing view. We spent 5 wonderful nights and enjoyed it every minute. We highly recommend Outlook Lodge.

Beautiful modern home overlooking the ocean. Convenient and easy drive into Liverpool for groceries, supplies, beer, wine. An easy drive from the airport in Halifax. Bathrobes in all the closets was a nice touch!

Great place. One of my favorites that I have stayed at. Private and peaceful (make sure that is what you are looking for). We went for a staycation style and just enjoyed the views of the water and cooking at the place. We went out to dinner a couple of times, once was an hour round trip, and the other was a two-hour round trip -- we knew this going in, so no complaints. We would be open to going again in the future perhaps with another couple as the place is set up perfectly with nearly identical master suites with their own bathrooms and an additional third bathroom on the floor with the living room/dining/kitchen area—just a great innovative design and set-up with awesome windows and views. The hosts were also attentive to our needs and even left a nice surprise to welcome us after our long drive. I would highly recommend it.

Great place. Kayla was very accommodating & even brought over some spare cushions and a blanket for us to have a lovely fire on the beach. Highly recommend! The only downside is the beach is very rocky so it’s kind of awkward for swimming but sunset is very beautiful

Andrea was easy to communicate with, accommodating and pleasant. Walking distant to beautiful Mavillette Beach. Neighbors were friendly and welcoming.

On the Rocks is a peaceful, magical place. It is modern but cozy and extremely clean and well equipped. Jerky and Stew are responsive and friendly hosts. This was our second time here with plans to return in the future!

Loved our stay at Eric and Dawns beautiful house! A very short distance to the Summerville beach, and the house is well equipped for everything you would need. My kids especially loved the binoculars to look out at the water, and the colouring books left for them.

Holly was fantastic. Due to unavoidable storm circumstances Holly had to reroute us to a different airbnb, and she did swiftly and comfortably.

My partner and I stayed at the Wintergreen yurt while in the area for a weekend trip. It is clear how much thought and care Patrick and Dorothée have put into the place. Although we visited in October and the temperatures were low, we were cozy warm the entire time. It was such a peaceful reset.

This was my first girlfriend trip. We arrived at the house and the seven of us were Wowed! Everything you could need was there. Perfect kitchen for meals and the open concept was great for everyone being together. The beds were very comfortable. The whole house is spotless. The hot tub on the upper deck and the view from there is beautiful. Summerville beach was only a couple minutes away. Next trip will include our husbands. The house next door would be great if anyone would want a family reunion getaway.

Our family of six adults really enjoyed this beautiful, well-appointed house — particularly the location. This new home has incredible views and we spent considerable time enjoying the wildlife that came into the cove. The hot tub, sauna, croquet set, and kayaks were really special added bonuses of which we took advantage. The house had everything we needed in regard to linens, kitchen items, and entertainment. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The location was very private and peaceful — we didn’t see another person save some friendly waves from passing boats. We drove about 25 minutes for a dinner in Shelburne and visited Digby (2 hours away) and Mahone Bay (~1.5 hours away) while we were there, but also — because of the beautiful setting — ended up spending more time at the house than originally intended. Highly recommend!

We all went to enjoy a relaxing weekend & that's exactly what it was. Everything was perfect & the host is amazing. The property managers were excellent as well!
