Family-friendly holiday rentals in Stow-on-the-Wold

Riverside Cottage was perfect for a restful week away before my operation. The scenery was stunning and the location so peaceful. The dogs were happy as they could could come and go as they pleased as the garden was so secure. Everything you need for a break away was supplied and the host was a message away if you had any queries. The hottub was an added bonus and was made the most of throughout the week!! A most enjoyable break, we will definitely be back

Ann's place is incredible- stayed for two nights and there is everything you could possibly need or anticipate in the house. We had a great time - the pool and hot tub were very clean and the house was perfect! Ann was extremely responsive and helpful. Would absolutely book again!

Wow what a beautiful place! We booked this for a special wedding anniversary to celebrate with our close family. The gift of a bottle of wine and a cake was such a lovely touch. Thank you so much. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mayflower. The young children loved seeing the ducks and wildlife come right up to the deck, and the adults loved the hot tub. The robes were a lovely touch too. We had no problem finding the Mayflower and the instructions for checking in and the online guidebook were very useful. There is so much to do on the doorstep if you can drag yourself away from the lodge. It was such a peaceful and magical place and somewhere I would love to return to.

Great location in the middle of Castle Combe, to stay in a property with so much history was fascinating. The house was clean, everything worked, beds are very comfortable. Marlit replied promptly to our questions making everything very easy. We had a great stay.

Everything was just perfect. Very easy checkin, clear instructions on how to use everything, beautifully furnished with great amenities, loved that we could buy local produce too. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be at one with nature and have a few days to switch off. We will definitely be back!!

Amazing stay! The hut was exactly like the photos and just as described The thoughtful touches Prosecco milk cake hot chocolate and chocolate were lovely and really made us feel at home The hut was well appointed and everything had been well thought through and we did not want for anything The fact the washing up was done for you again added to the experience! The hot tub and view were beautiful and we were so lucky with the weather we made full use of the outdoor space Great recommendations on walks and places to eat! My husband and I had such a lovely stay at Sarah and Sim’s place while in the Cotswolds for a wedding at nearby Lapstone Barn. It was the perfect base for us for the weekend - cosy and peaceful and had everything we needed, and more! The breakfast spread was so thoughtful and very much appreciated. Would highly recommend this air BnB. Thank you both!

Hope Cottage is amazing. The location is wonderful, the house itself has everything you need and makes you feel like you're staying in a proper British cottage. Sarah is an amazing host: she answered any questions I had very quickly and was just in general very kind. One thing to note: the house isn't built for tall people. I'm 181 cm tall (about 5'11) and I had to bend down a bit whilst going through doorways or using the shower. It didn't really bother me, but it's just something to be aware of. Whether you want a quiet retreat or a homebase to explore the area, this is an amazing place to do so!

We enjoyed a very peaceful stay, while husband and daughter were learning to sail at the nearby sailing club. The living room and bedrooms were comfortable, and I enjoyed sitting in the sunny garden. The cottage is tucked away very privately, but is a short walk from the main street of Lechlade. We enjoyed lunches at the New Inn.

A delightful cottage just a few minutes walk from the many attractions Chipping Campden has to offer. Two surprisingly spacious bedrooms, one en-suite. If you are heading to the Cotswolds, this the perfect place to stay.

We had a wonderful six days at Pat’s lovely property. Pat and Tony were great hosts, they made us very welcome. The area is very peaceful with lovely walks for us and our dog. We would certainly recommend the Wagon House as a really nice base to explore this lovely location . Regards Tony and Pippa

Great location loads of charm!

We spent 6 days at Rob’s place with our 3 children. The weather was not our friend but the onsite swimming pool meant we still had a fabulous time. The hot tub was a great addition to the property. The cottage had plenty of room for us all & the spa facilities were fantastic. Great location as well, we had a lovely morning wandering around Cirencester. Rob was super helpful. We used 2 of the recommended places to eat & both were fantastic options. Lovely stay!

The perfect escape! Farahnaz and Paul are really helpful, very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The Summerhouse is so secluded and cosy. it really is a proper escape from the "Busy Life" Shakurs on the corner is a great place to eat if you get the chance. Beautiful peaceful spot in the Cotswold countryside. The cottage is spacious and well equipped with great walks straight from the door. The pool was such a fantastic asset and really added to our holiday.

Rosalind was a very friendly and communicative host. She offered a range of breakfasts and recommended some lovely local walks. The property was in a fab location with lots of nice walks/pubs nearby.

Lovely clean place on a lovely site. There was a thoughtful little hamper of some food and milk and a treat box for our dog when we arrived which was a nice touch! Wish we had stayed longer, the pool and cafe were great! The terrace was massive with lots of chairs on and we’d love to come in the warmer months!

What a fantastic stay we had at Kate’s place. She was an incredible host, nothing was too much trouble for her. The pictures really don’t show how gorgeous it truly is & it’s so much larger than the pictures show. We had a wonderful stay and hope to be back in the future xx
