Are you a group looking for a rural accommodation by Lake Mälaren, which has a private beach and large areas with all the amenities available? Villa Gurli was built in 1912 and has undergone an extensive renovation in the last year to regain its former glory. With a private jetty/marina, it is also possible to get here by boat. The accommodation is about 1 hour by car from Stockholm on beautiful Selaön, with proximity to both nature and rich wildlife. About 15 minutes away are both Strängnäs and Mariefred.

Ekbacka Lake house - Cabin with lake view

Newly built modern cabin in the woods with amazing lakeview. The house was built in 2020 and is located on a hill near Lake Mälaren just 1 hour from Stockholm. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 of them with double bed and 1 with a bunk bed. All bedrooms have black out curtains so that the bedroom gets completely dark. 1 bathroom with a toilet and 1 guest toilet. There is also a newly built sauna.A large living room / kitchen with an amazing view through the large windows. Parties are not allowed.

Villa Gläntan, Mariefred

Villa Gläntan – Din egen oas i hjärtat av Sverige Välkommen till ett charmigt fritidshus i soliga, insynsskyddade Mariefred. Villa Gläntan har tre sovrum, stor privat trädgård och inglasad veranda. Plocka bär i trädgården, promenera till den lugna badplatsen eller utforska medeltida Gripsholms slott en bit bort bort. Mälaren ligger runt knuten — vacker oavsett om du utforskar den till fots, på cykel eller med båt. Perfekt för familjer som vill ha plats, natur och äkta svensk sommaridyll.

Högberga gård

Kom och bo i vårat mysiga 1800-tals hus i hjärtat av gården. Skridskoåkning vid kallt väder och pulka vid mycket snö på gården. * Tillgång till vedeldad bastu finns för 300kr per gång. * Grillning vid timmerstugan i den intilliggande skogen är möjlig. * Strand vid Mälaren finns några kilometer bort. * Strängnäs centrum ligger ca en halv mil från gården. * Sängkläder samt handdukar tas med av gästen, men kan hyras för 50 kr per gäst. Förbokas. * Ägg och potatis finns att köpa på gården.

Stallet

Det lilla stallet som är från 1600 har omvandlats till en petit gästlägenhet. Här finns inte rinnande vatten men väl ett gammeldags charmigt litet kök med modern utrustning. Toaletten består av en modern förbränningstoalett. Dusch med varmvatten finns tillgängligt i en intilliggande byggnad. Gården ligger i en lugn ålderdomlig by omgiven av skog och åkermark, men med idylliska Mariefred och Gripsholms slott runt hörnet. På gården samsas man med hundar, katter, höns, ankor och bikupor.

Cozy cottage in the countryside – nature, chickens & close to the castle

Fly från staden – en liten pärla på landet 45 min från Stockholm. Gäststugan på 22 kvm erbjuder en riktig naturupplevelse med sovloft, bäddsoffa och utsikt över grön trädgård och ängar. Perfekt för par, vänner eller småbarnsfamiljer som vill koppla av i lugn och ro. Runt stugan finns ett mysigt hönshus och fridfull natur. Promenera till Taxinge Slott ("kakslottet") på knappt 2 km – ett populärt utflyktsmål med café och vackra omgivningar.

Located in the woods with a view over the lake Mälaren you can live in an off-grid cabin life. Take a break from the city's hectic life, go back to nature and enjoy Sweden in a unique way. There are 3 bedrooms with a master bedroom with large glass part facing the lake. Large bathroom with washbasin. Social kitchen and living room with open floor plan and a fireplace. Now with a guest house with sauna and separate toilette.

Bus from Stallarholmen passes the accommodation, with bus stop 1 km from the accommodation.
