The apartment has its own entrance from the yard. On the entrance level, there is a spacious hall and a large bathroom with shower, toilet, washing machine and dryer. On the upper floor, there is a well-equipped kitchen, toilet, two bedrooms and balcony overlooking Gripsholm Castle. Rented for at least three nights or more. Lilla Elma - charming cottage on Fogdön outside Strängnäs Welcome to our cozy little house that has just been renovated with linseed oil paint and natural materials. Here you live in the quiet and peaceful village of Elma with fields and meadows all around, only a 10-minute walk to Lake Mälaren. Enjoy your morning coffee outside the cabin with views of pastures and fields, take walks in the surroundings or take a trip to beautiful Sörmland! On cold days, it's cozy to have a fire in the two fireplaces - firewood is included!

Stallet

The small stable that is from the 1600s has been converted into a small guest apartment. There is no running water here, but there is an old-fashioned charming little kitchen with modern equipment. The toilet consists of a modern incineration toilet. A shower with hot water is available in an adjacent building. The farm is located in a quiet ancient village surrounded by forest and arable land, but with idyllic Mariefred and Gripsholm Castle around the corner. On the farm, you get along with dogs, cats, chickens and beehives.

Villa Gurli was built in 1912 and has undergone an extensive renovation in the last year to regain its former glory. With a private jetty/marina, it is also possible to get here by boat. The accommodation is about 1 hour by car from Stockholm on beautiful Selaön, with proximity to both nature and rich wildlife. About 15 minutes away are both Strängnäs and Mariefred.

Take a break and unwind in this peaceful oasis. Enjoy the silence and the nature. Just a 20-minute drive from idyllic Strängnäs is this gem. Surrounded by forest, fields and a rich wildlife right next to the house. Don't be surprised if you see moose, deer, cranes and many other wild animals from the veranda when you eat breakfast. Here you can also book several different activities such as game safari, clay pigeon shooting, archery and lots of garden games to do on your own.

Minihus i Mariefred

A simple little house where you can sleep and prepare basic meals while enjoying everything that Mariefred has to offer. The house is only 15 sqm, so it’s small but cozy. There is a bed that is 140 cm wide, a small writing desk with a chair, and a small table with two stools. There is a TV with Netflix, Telia Play, and Disney+. There is also a small kitchenette with two hotplates and a portable fan. Parking is available on the street outside or elsewhere nearby.

Our first guest used the cottage as a writing retreat for a documentary. The couple who came after wanted to visit the Swedish countryside and hoped to see bears (note: there are no bears here). Historical idyll from the 1600s

Welcome to our carefully renovated house from the 1600s! Here you live next to Strängnäs Cathedral and have the city center nearby. Our charming house also has an exciting story to tell. The house has had the privilege of being included in the popular history and building conservation program on TV, SVT "Det sitter i väggarna" in the fall of 2023. Of course, cleaning, bed linens, towels and coffee and tea are included.

A charming guest house of 22 sqm with sofa bed and sleeping loft out in the countryside. Around the house is a chicken coop, garden and views of scenic Taxinge. With just under 2 km to Taxinge Castle, there are good opportunities to experience the "tile castle" through a walk or short drive. Great starting point for traveling around and discovering Södermanland's nature, but also Greater Stockholm.

We are far from the big city, but still only 1 hour from Stockholm, with a nice view of Lake Mälaren and the opportunity to sit on our jetty at sunset. Our guest house is about 45 sqm with kitchen, bathroom, bedroom (180 cm bed) and a small living room with sofa bed (140 cm). The guest house is built together with the main building and has its own balcony.
