A few minutes' walk from Sörmlandsleden and Lake Yngen. 6 beds, two bedrooms and a sofa bed. Large social areas. Fully-equipped kitchen, perfect for those who want to cook their own meals, bathroom with washing machine. Patio with barbecue grill. Nature right outside the door – but only 30 minutes to Stockholm by train.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Park your car for free on the street and walk to the city center in 5 minutes. Within the same distance, you also have access to the small town's harbor with a few restaurants to choose from. Villa Gurli was built in 1912 and has undergone an extensive renovation in the last year to regain its former glory. With a private jetty/marina, it is also possible to get here by boat. The accommodation is about 1 hour by car from Stockholm on beautiful Selaön, with proximity to both nature and rich wildlife. About 15 minutes away are both Strängnäs and Mariefred.

Come and enjoy the peace and quiet, or visit all the exciting sights in Mariefred or Strängnäs.

Own patio and parking at the house. 300 m to public transport. Bedroom with a 160 cm double bed. Sleeping area in living room three 90 cm beds.

Minihus i Mariefred

A simple little house where you can sleep and prepare basic meals while enjoying everything that Mariefred has to offer. The house is only 15 sqm, so it’s small but cozy. There is a bed that is 140 cm wide, a small writing desk with a chair, and a small table with two stools. There is a TV with Netflix, Telia Play, and Disney+. There is also a small kitchenette with two hotplates and a portable fan. Parking is available on the street outside or elsewhere nearby.

Our first guest used the cottage as a writing retreat for a documentary. The couple who came after wanted to visit the Swedish countryside and hoped to see bears (note: there are no bears here). A third to recover and land in silence. What are your needs?

Welcome to our carefully renovated house from the 1600s! Here you live next to Strängnäs Cathedral and have the city center nearby. Our charming house also has an exciting story to tell. The house has had the privilege of being included in the popular history and building conservation program on TV, SVT "Det sitter i väggarna" in the fall of 2023. Of course, cleaning, bed linens, towels and coffee and tea are included.

The house is from early 1800's and well kept in it's charm. During the summer guests have access to a patio in the garden.
