⭐Stunning⭐ Cottage with Hot Tub

HollieRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a lovely stay with our 3 dogs at heron view, we enjoyed the spacious living area and comfortable beds. The utility space was a great nook for the dogs if they were wet from walking. Lovely local pub (the Masonic) with friendly people and bar staff. The hot tub was a massive bonus! Thanks Donald We will be back!

The Byre, Spoutwells Holiday Cottages, Stranraer

MichaelRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We loved our stay. The house (Byre) is beautiful and far more spacious than photos give credit for. Added bonus for us, wheelchair accessable from patio doors into kitchen/dinning/lounge area. Wheelchair accessible into downstairs bathroom/shower and bedroom. There is a shower stool in cupboard next to bathroom. The upstairs landing area has a cosy couch/snug between bedrooms and upstairs toilet/Shower room. Beautiful scenory surrounding Cottages and we all completely felt at home and relaxed instantly. House very clean and fresh. Stranraer in walking distance with pavement at road end of cottages. Lovely walking options around cottages. Kitchen comes very well equipped and decent sized fridge freezer. We look forward to returning.

Splash Cottage beach house with sea lapping garden

LouiseRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had the perfect getaway with friends in this beautiful house by the sea. We were 4 adults and 3 young children and there was plenty of space for us all. There are lots of stairs which were difficult at times for the younger ones. But that didn’t take away from our stay. We got the hot tub which we thoroughly enjoyed once the kids were in bed. Would definitely recommend.

Quaint “Lilac Tree Cottage” Greyabbey

GerardRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had a great stay at Lilac Cottage, we were staying there as our son’s wedding was at Orangetree House, lovely cosy sitting room, well stocked kitchen and the cottage was spotless. Unfortunately we didn’t get the full benefit as it would be a great location for anyone to explore the Ards peninsula and across to Strangford and Mourne Country and come back to relax in the garden. Janet had also left us some ‘goodies’ and even Pooh bags for the dog! Apologies I took her for a walk and still have them 🙈 would 100% recommend and all being well will use again

The Bullpen, Spoutwells Holiday Cottages.

NiamhRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had the most amazing time staying at Anne’s place. She was very welcoming and the welcome basket we received was a lovely touch. The perfect area for our quiet get away, very close to everything we needed. The cottage itself was spotless and had a nice homely feel to it. It’s even better than the pictures and really exceeded our expectations. All the facilities we needed and the hot tub was the perfect luxury! Thank you for everything, we’ll definitely be back🥰

Criffel Glen

SeanRating, 5 stars4 months ago
We had a lovely time at Criffel Glen. Emily our host was very welcoming and easily reachable with any questions. The home is lovely, with the beautiful views, hot tub and log burner its a really cosy place to stay. Emily allowed us to feed the goats which my daughter loved too! We had accidently left a soft toy my daughter has had since she was born when packing and Emily was amazing, finding it and even going out of her way to get it back to us which we were so grateful for. Would certainly stay again if we were in the area. The only thing I could fault the place for would be a dryer was listed but not available when we asked, Not a huge issue but we had planned to be able to turn around ours and baby clothes so packed light accordingly so it was a bit more of a challenge than we had hoped for but we used the log burner and got everything dry in time but listing may need updating or be aware when booking.

Oscar's by the Sea - Victorian period property

MartinRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Excellent accommodation for our family of 7 with plenty of space and spare bedrooms with good local amenities and a beach close by. Only setback was the closure of the free public car park close by on the bank holiday which led to searches for space as close to the house as possible. This didn’t change our view of this excellent accommodation

Such a beautiful home and perfect for our family’s stay for our daughter’s wedding at a farm nearby. Such a unique property and we were grateful for the gorgeous back garden since we had such great weather. Kitchen was well-equipped and we enjoyed the setup of the house overall.

Lovely spacious cottage with enclosed garden in a beautiful setting. Great for the dog with a useful dog walking field in the campsite on the farm. We were only there for two nights but we enjoyed a visit to the nearby castle which has lovely gardens and grounds.

The Summer House

VickyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The cottage was absolutely lovely, it is spacious and really comfortable particularly the sofas and bed. Everything is spotlessly clean and Penny is a superb host. The cottage is a joy to spend time at and it also has a lovely enclosed garden and you can see down to the bay. Penny and her husband Archie are really friendly, helpful hosts and there is also lots of information about things to do on the beautiful island of Arran. We had a fantastic holiday. Thank you

Idyllic Glamour: Rose Blair on Vast Seaside Estate

PhilRating, 5 stars4 months ago
The most magical place to stay. From the moment we booked we received the warmest of welcomes and it just got better and better. The Lodge was pristine, the facilities top drawer and the surroundings breathtaking. Truly one of the best AirBnB stays we’ve ever had. Loved it and will definitely be back.

High House Cottage - A traditonal style cottage

SonjaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Well, WOW! We stay in AirBnBs a lot, but Ste's place is something special. The cottage is beautiful, it has so many unique little features, it is incredibly well equipped and has a bunch of lovely, personal touches - local area pictures, welcome basket, the best stocked kitchen ever, local tea and coffee, etc - that make you feel not just right at home but even more - kinda like when you visit your good friends' home and every corner of it tells you something about them that makes you smile. The local area is stunning - we walked our dogs on St Bees sea front twoce every day and ventured out, too. There are a couple of great local pubs, the neighbours are friendly, everything you need is in close reach; the list of positives goes on and on. And not to forget: Ste's hosting was impeccable. Friendly, personable, responsive, he even checked in on us to see how we found it. If we could give more than 5 stars we would. We will most certainly be back. High House Cottage is a true gem!

Kelmscott carradale

CarolineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved our stay in Carradale! The weather was thankfully a lot better than forecast and we loved all the beaches, the cafe at Torrisdale and Skipness castle and seafood. We also had drinks in the Glen and Ashdale. All dog friendly. Southend was a good visit and walk along the beach and so was Machrihanish. Highlight was our day in Gigha and lunch at the Boathouse. We ran out of time to walk across the causeway to Davaar so we’ll just have to return one day. Kelmscott was very clean and comfortable and very peaceful and relaxing. Thanks so much!

55 Barend Holiday Lodges: free swimming and golf

LeeanneRating, 5 stars56 months ago
What a lovely, lovely place to stay. The lodge manages to be both cosy and spacious at the same time. There are three really nice bedrooms plus three bathrooms and the main living space is big, with plenty of space for lounging, reading, playing games or watching the tv after a day at the beach. The thing I always love when I go to stay anywhere is great bedding and the lodge was not a disappointment! The downstairs double bed had the most incredible duvet, huge and fluffy and warm - lovely for lying in bed in the morning looking at the great view from the french doors with a cup of tea. We used the swimming pool, using the booking system, which was nice. You book a session in the pool, which you have for your own use during your session. Having the pool to ourselves was a bit of a treat! There is a lovely pub on site too, although we sat outside due to the current situation, we went in to order drinks and it was really nice inside. Though no local beer, which would have been nice. The lodge is within walking distance of a really amazing, amazing beach - just beautiful. You can do lots of really great walks from the lodge, along the beach or the coastal walk, as well as through the many lovely forests in the area. We were lucky enough to see red squirrels! Despite some slight issues with communication (down to a problem with technology and not on their part) we had a wonderful time and are very much looking forward to returning. We would really recommend Barend as a wonderful place to visit, the lodge was absolutely gorgeous (did I mention the amazing duvet?!) and just a few minutes walk from the most incredible beach. A perfect trip away. We will absolutely be making a return trip

44 Barend, 3 Bedroom Lodge - Swimming Pool & Pub

MichelleRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had an absolutely superb stay at this cabin! The hosts have thought of everything—every household utensil, cleaning product, and appliance we needed was readily available. It truly felt like a home away from home. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras, like the collection of games, DVDs, and books, which made for cozy evenings indoors. The stuffed toy dogs were a lovely touch for the children, and they adored them! The cabin was spotless, and we were impressed with how well-organized everything was, including the garbage disposal system. The private pool was a fantastic addition, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Overall, this was one of the best stays we’ve had, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommend!

19 Barend: Free swimming & golf.

JordanRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Great cabin, very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The sofa was so comfortable we all fell asleep several times! It’s very quiet on the site which is nice and the views of the loch are lovely. The site is in a great location with the loch just a short walk away where you can enjoy a short walk round & you can also fish. The beach is a short drive away with lovely soft sand and there’s a few shops & restaurants nearby. The on site pool is available for private hire which was fantastic, we loved it. We also ate at the beagle pub which was really nice, plenty to choose from and there was colouring stuff, books & games for the kids which they enjoyed. Really reasonably priced meal as well. Would really recommend & would come again ☺️
