I throughly enjoyed my stay in the green room. Hans was very informative and the environment was relaxed and comfortable. The garden was a treat as well as the lovely neighborhood. I walked so many trails and it was an easy walk to the main shopping area, best of both worlds. Thank you Hans for having me stay in your home retreat!

My friend and I had an amazing stay!! We loved it so much. The gardens were beautiful and we enjoyed having our meals outside. The breakfasts that Connie prepared were tasty and thoughtful. The suite was comfortable and clean. The kitchenette had everything needed to prepare simple meals. The beach is less than a 10 minute walk about and there are lots of other magical spots on this end of the island. Our stay was memorable and we hope to visit again!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Carol and Cliff’s place. They’re the kind of hosts who make you feel looked after without ever being overbearing. They’re warm, attentive, and clearly put a lot of love in their home. One of the highlights was watching our daughter explore their herb garden with Carol, getting to know the different scents and plants; a small gesture that meant a lot. The guest suite itself felt even more spacious than the photos suggest, yet still cozy and thoughtfully put together. Immaculately clean and equipped with everything we needed, it struck a perfect balance between hotel-level polish and the comfort of a well-loved home. We spent hours reading from their library and relaxing on the deck, soaking in the peace and quiet. It’s a perfect base for exploring the area, with Daniel Point, Hotel Lake, and other local spots just minutes away. A beautiful place, and hosts who genuinely care. We’re looking forward to our return (hopefully) soon.

We loved it here! The cottage and property were so charming and inviting. Our kids loved their cozy bed nooks with toys hidden underneath. We all enjoyed spending time with the animals and wandering the wonderful flower and vegetable gardens. Carol was exceptionally welcoming and generous. We would definitely recommend staying here and are already planning to return.

My friends and I had a truly wonderful stay at Claire’s charming place! The house was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and felt like a true home away from home. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep after time spent exploring the area. One of the standout features of this stay was the peaceful farm setting - waking up to the sounds of chickens and seeing the horse grazing nearby added such a special and serene touch. It is a perfect retreat if you are looking to relax and reconnect with nature. Claire and her mom were exceptional hosts - warm, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made our experience even more memorable. The location is quiet and peaceful, yet still conveniently close to Powell River's attractions. Highly recommend staying at Claire’s place - it's a hidden gem in a beautiful part of British Columbia!

I booked Karen’s micro cabin as a birthday trip for my mom, and it was absolutely perfect. Tucked into the peaceful forest of Halfmoon Bay, this cozy little retreat is full of charm and warmth. The wood stove kept us toasty in the evenings, and we especially loved the adorable outdoor shower—with very hot running water! It was such a unique and refreshing way to start the day. We did a beautiful hike through Smuggler Cove Marine Provincial Park, just a short drive away, and came back to total peace and quiet in the woods. The cabin is thoughtfully designed, super clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Karen was very responsive and helpful throughout our trip, and we felt truly taken care of. This was such a special experience—one we’ll both remember for a long time. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at the yurt, it was one of our better AirBnb stays and perfect for this trip. We were close to the wedding we travelled for, but in a very quiet and private location. The yurt is near the other two dwellings on the property, but laid out in a way that makes it very private. Our kids loved the deck out front, the hammock seat, and of course the playground, and overall it was just a great place to unwind and spend time in between the family events of the wedding. We would highly recommend it, especially for families. Several books, games, and toys, a high chair and other amenities too.

We had a lovely stay at the farm! Such a peaceful and beautiful property set back in the trees on Quadra! A perfect retreat for us while we came to explore a few of the trails and the charm of the island ❤️

Had the most wonderful relaxing week at Woolly Thyme Farm. Loved the private location with spacious deck and hot tub. The accommodation is comfortable and spacious with quality furnishings and a well equipped kitchen. The large garden is filled with bird song, butterflies and views of the sheep paddock. Merville area is a perfect for hiking at Oyster River, Seal Bay and Mount Washington. The local farm shops and roadside farm stands offer delicious organic produce. Shorewolf Farm Bakery in Black Creek for sourdough and cakes. Niji in Cumberland for Asian inspired cuisine, Filberg Summer Kitchen for fine dining and Surfside Fish And Chips at Comox Marina. Highlight of the trip was the wonderful host Jennifer, providing farm eggs and a warm welcome. Amazing value for the location and facilities. We have already rebooked we loved it so much!

Very nice rural spot, but still. Quick drive into town, trail walk spots, and other outdoor stuff. Also nice for just walking the quiet neighbourhood. Clean, quiet, and all amenities we needed were there.

This is a beautiful, peaceful property. The tiny home had everything we needed for a cozy stay and space to work if needed. There were lots of trails around the property to go for walks with our dog and the fenced yard was a bonus! Lots of wildlife around and amazing stars at night. We will definitely be back!

We’ve been trying to find a word to describe Roy’s place, and I think that the closest we can get is ‘surreal’. It’s by far, the most interesting and unique property we’ve ever stayed at. The value was incredible, but if you’re ok living in a partially renovated space, then this place is for you. I’ve been renovating my home for over a year, so it wasn’t anything new. The antiques and curiosities add to the mystique. Want to play drums? There’s a kit upstairs. Want to play a board game from your youth? They’re all there. Roy stopped by to say hello and to give us a history of the property. He’s so laid back and very responsive. If you’re looking for an incredibly unique property, at a great price, then this is place for you.

Beautiful character home on a farm setting. Home had everything needed to feel right at home and the location was perfect for a proper disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city. Loved sleeping at night with the windows open and hearing the frogs and in the morning the turkeys gobbling. Had suppers on the patio overlooking the yard everyday. Will definitely stay with Eve again if I’m in the area!
