Monthly Rentals in Stretton Westwood

I’ve stayed here on several occasions and it never disappoints. Its rural setting means it’s the perfect spot to recharge my batteries and it’s also only a short distance to Much Wenlock, Ludlow and Bridgnorth. The garden to the cottage is amazing and my dogs love it. The cottage has everything you need and the welcome hamper is a nice little touch. Highly recommend.

Philip is a wonderful host who makes you welcome the minute you arrive at the studio. He was really proactive and available when we had some questions about the place. The studio was spotless and well equipped. Numerous guides and tips were available about the restaurants and places to visit. I would definitely recommend the place to whoever wants to spend a few days in the region.

Bernard is a most welcoming host. He showed us around telling us how things work. He showed us the pizza dough and how to cook it. As we were staying close to our Family he suggested inviting them around to have a go at making their own pizzas. The boys 13 &11 found it a wonderful experience. We so enjoyed the quietness of the place that we booked an extra two nights. The only thing to consider is the spiral staircase. Although I usually need crutches to walk any length I found it easier than some steep staircases.All in all a wonderful stay. PS. Pixie loved her big bowel, toy ball and treats yo gave her. The cabin and its surroundings was wonderful for our family of 4. Very comfortable and the kids loved the bunk. Very spacious, clean and beautifully presented. We booked at last minute and Dru (and family) were not about the weekend we stayed but communication was fantastic, we cannot fault, the yummy Brownies on arrival were a really lovely extra touch. We would certainly recommend staying here. The area is also beautiful (walks and activities recommend in the lodge), we had a great time at Attingham Park National Trust and a walk around Wenlock Edge, the Presthope car park a couple of mins down the road is great with 3 options of walk length, fantastic den building and little bits for the kids on the walk.
