Heating cables in floor in living room, kitchen and bathroom. 12 km to Stryn city center, to Loen 22 km. Stryn Summer Ski Center is about a 30 minutes drive away. Jølet! Imagine lying suspended above the ground on a bed of rushing water with stars in your eyes! That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Juv is much more than just a house and a bed! Gamlestova was the original farmhouse and has the same amazing views as Juvsøyna on Juv and Gamletunet on Juv. From the canopy bed in the living room you can wake up to the sunrise and if you are lucky follow a tourist boat on its way to Olden with your eyes. In the evening you can fire up the stove, feel the good heat, read a good book and fall asleep to the light of the flames and the sound of the wood stove nearby. NB! Hydla climbing park is within walking distance. In winter you may enjoy ski in/ski out facilities at Stryn Winterski and amazing cross country facilities. The cabin has 2 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms with 13 beds in total; 3 bedrooms on the main floor and two on the 2nd floor. 3 of the bedrooms have family bunk beds.
