It’s rare to find a place that exceeds expectations but Martin & Clare have provided a gem of a place that was more like a tiny home than an annex. I had a few requests for extra items due to a disabled relative and a birthday, both met with above and beyond responses. I also appreciated the thoughtful food and flowers on arrival. I was re visiting the area after 40 years and particularly enjoyed the walkability to the station and the city, as I did not have a car. The amazing walks to the Edge itself and surrounding areas were a bonus. Martin was also very helpful in helping me organise tennis coaching at the beautiful Alderley Edge tennis club. Martin and Clare have provided a gold standard experience - not only for the area - but all Airbnb accommodation.

Sivesh warmly welcomed us on our arrival and introduced us to the lovely house. The house was big, warm and full of characters. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was really good. Pathma was very responsive when we had a question about Wi-Fi. They also provided a highchair and a cot for my baby, which was very accommodating. The baby watched loads of planes taking off from the kitchen window, which was new and exciting for him and definitely a plus point for us!

Easily the best place I’ve stayed in for the price range. Very comfortable, very clean and very quiet and peaceful. Has so many perks including: good size fridge, branded iron and board, tea/coffee, shower robe and complimentary toiletries. The host is very responsive and friendly. Our return trip on the train to Manchester Piccadilly, from Wilmslow station, on Sunday, for 2 people, was only around twelve pounds. Additionally, many trains coming from London to Manchester (and v.v.), do stop at Wilmslow. So, if you are coming to Manchester for a break, and want a pleasant location outside the city, Wilmslow (and, indeed, June’s Airbnb “The Garage”) are a good choice.
