Grab your hiking shoes or mountain bike and hop on the trail right behind the rental, which also connects to Galbraith, a nationally recognized mntn biking venue. After, slide into the hot tub, or relax by the fire pit. Take the kids to the playground, the lake, or the pup to the dog park! Don't forget shopping or a visit to the many breweries in town! Did we mention the Taylor Shellfish??

Rustic Retreat

Quiet, private, secluded home on 25 acres of forested land. The home was built from logs milled on site. Enjoy filtered spring water, natural light, stargazing, & views of the tops of Mount Baker and the Sisters on a clear day. Owls and Elk can be heard during the evening hours at certain times of the year. Heat is provided by a wood stove and 3 space heaters. Mount Baker is 1 hour away; Bellingham is 30 minutes. Well-behaved, house trained, and supervised pets are welcome with a per pet fee.

Our special place offers a base for adventure, rejuvenation and re-connection, providing "Il Dolce Far Niente" - The Sweetness of Doing Nothing. * Note there will be construction on the upper part of our property til late April, with minimal impact on Studio guests.
