I wish we could have stayed an entire week! The cabin is wonderful. Cozy, clean, with the right amount of magic to make rustic feel luxurious. Theresa and David are wonderful hosts and stayed in communication during our travel snags and cancelled flights. I am already looking ahead at my calendar and trying to decide when I might be able to return. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful spot.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful, rustic getaway! The space was full of charm and character, perfectly blending comfort with a cozy, tucked-away vibe. Even though it was close to a main road for convenience, it felt completely private within its small, peaceful community. One of our favorite features was how dog-friendly the property was—our pups loved the access to the water and we appreciated the fenced in yard. It was also great to discover so many nearby dog-friendly restaurants and hiking trails, which made our days out easy and fun. The thoughtful amenities throughout the home really elevated our stay and made everything more comfortable and relaxing. We’d absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, charming escape—especially if you’re traveling with a furry friend!

If you are looking for a quiet, well-equipped location where there is room for everyone, you’ve found your place. While a little quirky, the layout has all sorts of nooks & crannies for you to enjoy… multiple porches, multiple fireplaces, multiple seating arrangements. The views are just beautiful & the house is cozy & well-equipped. We were a family group of all adults in for graduation at App State. I wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the house more. Ann was a great communicator & we would definitely purely stay here again. There are a lot of steps involved to enjoy everything but also many options on the main floor of the house if you have mobility issues (we had older grandparents in our party and no young children). Ann’s notes about local shops & restaurants were detailed & helpful. Great stay!

This property is exactly as described in the listing. Gorgeous view, comfortable, and easy to settle in to. My kids loved the well stocked toy shelves and hot tub, and my husband and I were able to cook and enjoy the beautiful view on the deck. Heather was incredibly kind, helpful, and gracious in all our interactions. Will definitely book again.

My wife and I, along with our daughter, her husband, and their 3 young boys had a very enjoyable stay. The children particularly liked the game barn. We all enjoyed the cool mountain air and the peaceful vibes while sitting on the outside swing along with making s'mores over the fire pit, and enjoying a relaxing soak in the hot tub. The view of Grandfather Mountain from the deck is amazing. Driving up to and down from the house was a bit challenging, with very steep climbs and hairpin switchback turns, but the view from the house at the top was well worth the drive. All things considered, we all had a very enjoyable stay and highly recommend staying here

we completely enjoyed ourself at Kendall's red tin roof cabin. it's close to Banner Elk it's close to beautiful golf courses and we went to some waterfall swimming holes everything was close the view was fantastic and we will be back again

Can’t say enough about this place. Everything was as described. Clean, nicely decorated and private. Lots of things to do around the area and if you just wanted to stick to the cabin. There wasn’t once where we thought “you know if would be nice if we had a” or “I need a”… and we opened a cabinet or drawer and there was what we needed. Made it very much like a home and not an Airbnb. Thank you. We will be back.

Our family had the absolute best experience staying at Debbie’s incredible cabin this past weekend! We gathered to celebrate my father’s 70th birthday with kids and grandkids, and we truly could not have pulled off such a memorable and successful weekend without this amazing home. The cabin itself is breathtaking — spacious with three floors to spread out, a pool table that kept everyone entertained, tons of board games for family time, and a hot tub overlooking one of the most stunning mountain ranges we've ever seen. Being the very last house at the end of a mountain road made it feel incredibly private and peaceful — exactly the atmosphere we were hoping for. That kind of seclusion is rare and made all the difference. Everything in the house was in perfect working order — you can tell Debbie takes great care of the property. From start to finish, her communication was fantastic. She was responsive, thoughtful, and quick to take action on anything we needed. 1 MILLION STARS!!!!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Matt’s cabin! The cabin was clean, cozy, and perfectly suited for our getaway. Matt was fantastic at communicating, he responded quickly and provided great recommendations about the area, which made our trip even more enjoyable. We’d definitely stay here again. Thanks, Matt!

This little cabin was in a gorgeous location! Right next to the snow tubing and not far from grandfather mountain! The views from the hot tub were amazing! Brought our two dogs and they loved it! The patio with the hot tub was fenced in so the dogs were able to hang with us while we were relaxing in the hot tub! Definitely would recommend and plan to come back!

We had a great stay at William's place. it was clean, peaceful and we felt right at home. The grill and hot tub made it a great place to relax, unwind, and cook out after a day out. Would definitely stay again!

Don’t think - just book it! This was the epitome of a relaxing and peaceful stay. We ventured out a few times for meals or hikes, but we had everything we needed at the cabin. Plenty of books, movies, games, trails, and a cozy spot to relax around every corner. The sound of the water running in the creek was the most beautiful soundtrack to our babymoon!

Wow, this is our second time staying at Kokomo, and it has become our absolute favorite location on Beech Mountain! Breathtaking views, easy spacious parking, no hassle entry and the sound of every bird you can imagine has been music to our ears. The excitement of nature is everywhere! That’s just describing the outside. Inside is so accommodating to everyone’s needs and wants. Big spacious rooms, lots of family fun activities, detached game-room, special treats, and luxurious extras with an amazing hot tub and an incredible sauna. We will continue to make this our first choice Airb&b when we visit the mountains! Most importantly, I do not believe there’s enough nice words in the world to describe how sweet and kind Sophia is hosting this location! She makes sure our experience is spectacular every time! Absolute private secluded peaceful property. Once we arrived we didn’t want to leave. Great location for driving to West Jefferson, Todd, Boone or other surrounding areas. Home comes with a phenomenal view and a nice hot tub to enjoy view from. The he bonus was it allowed us to bring our two dogs who enjoyed the rest also. We will be back soon. Thank you so much for everything including the amazing beds, pillows, coffee bar, candy and welcome.

Had a wonderful stay at this cabin in the woods. Very quiet and peaceful, just what we needed after a long day at our workshop. Will definitely stay here again.

Really seamless stay! Check in was super straightforward and the owners were kind enough to make the check in time earlier in the day. No issues during our stay, house was well stocked, clean, and comfortable. Location is very private but everything we needed (food, supplies, hikes, etc;) wasn’t too far of a drive away. Checkout process was also super easy and reasonable. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Lovely home with an incredible view! Decor is top notch and everything is very clean. The kitchen is well equipped with a surplus of just about everything you need. The only difficulty we had was that the house gets quite hot for a summer visit so just be prepared for that if you need air conditioning to be comfortable. The listing does indicate that the home did not have air conditioning but we assumed with such a high elevation and so many trees it would be naturally cool. That wasn't the case, but we did make the choice to stay without air conditioning so we managed as best we could. I'm sure it's much cooler at other times of the year. John was quick to respond to any questions and very friendly. The quality and location of the home, as well as the owner communication warranted a 5 star review. We would certainly return in cooler months!

Just what we needed… the house is so beautifully decorated and cared for, the host was very attentive, the views were amazing. We stayed for a long weekend to get some time to relax and this house was perfect. The decor is so thoughtful, we felt like we were staying in a magazine worthy home. The house is spaced well from other homes so there was no neighbor noise. The deck has the perfect view of the mountains. We would 100% recommend this home & host.

The house was fantastic. It was perfect my family, including my mother and two young kids (Ages 3 & 5). The patio was exactly what I wanted, a view of the mountains, peaceful mornings with coffee. The living room was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bedding was super clean and comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again! I also loved that otter. Falls was so close to the house, the family went hiking one day. And grandfather vineyard was also very convenient another great plus for the kids with the river and rocks to play in.

The cabin is even more beautiful than the photos convey. Very private and peaceful. Well stocked coffee / tea bar. Well stocked bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. An absolutely gorgeous place to get away and unwind.

Nice house, good deal, everything was working, nice design and with taste. No issues, everything was there as described! We enjoyed they stay and wood come again totally!

This place is so lovely. We had everything we needed and felt right at home. The location is perfect for Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock and even Boone. The view was gorgeous! I'd love to come back in Autumn to see the changing leaves. Sarah was an excellent host; very responsive when we had trouble with the door code. You can tell this place is well loved and very clean! The bed was sooo comfy. Not often do you see a king bed in Airbnbs, so that was a huge plus for me. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful getaway that feels like home! We'll definitely be back some day.
