A true highlight among our many stays in the Pioneertown area, this property boasts an amazing location with unparalleled views, offering the quiet, peaceful, and serene environment we wanted. Being under a mile from Red Dog Saloon, our absolute favorite local spot for dining and drinks, was incredibly convenient. What initially appeared as a bold rock and roll aesthetic online revealed itself to be a surprisingly inviting and relaxed ambiance in person. The overall desert landscaping on the property was incredible, and the outdoor fireplace was an absolute game-changer our favorite feature, perfect for star-gazing nights. Our hosts were very responsive and thoughtfully checked in on us. While we did encounter some issues with bugs in every room, these were small points in an overall great stay. The unique charm, excellent outdoor space, and superb location made this a truly memorable and restorative stay

This was such a great place to stay. A stylish, well equipped & well loved home in a really special location. Highly recommended. The only downside for us was the full moon that spoiled the star gazing!

This place was highly recommended by a friend and we trust their recommendations. It was perfect! From the ruggedly refined parking- just imagine- car charger in the desert to the wagons to transport luggage and the lit pathway- so well thought out. Every single amenity was over the top. I wish we’d planned to cook in just to use the kitchen to its capacity. The books were so relevant and sitting areas were comfy and serene. We played games, sat in the hot tub and just lounged out on the porches with our wine. We loved being able to play music with the speaker. I could go on and on. You get the picture - hope to make it back out there sooner rather than later!! Oh yeah- one more thing- my hair dryer broke and when I opened the drawer, of course- found nothing less than a Dyson!! What a treat!! Five stars from us!! Take care!!

Really stunning house, the inside is immaculate and so well done. Loved the outside space, truly stunning. Nice being so way out. Though there are houses around so not completely private. Also we lost power for about 5 hours the first day, had to find a neighbour so see if it was just us or the neighbourhood but apparently can happen anytime. Just something to be aware of as it happened again on second night. But house and everything included is fantastic, highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful weekend getaway at this Pioneertown gem! The house was exactly as described, beautifully designed, contemporary, and clean. It was easy to access with clear, thoughtful instructions that made check-in a breeze. The pool and surrounding landscape were absolutely stunning, and we loved how peaceful and private everything felt. Watching hummingbirds, rabbits, and baby quail in the mornings was pure magic. Pet-friendly and perfectly relaxing, this was just the escape from LA we needed.

This is truly a gem hidden in the mountains. Amazing views, great home and an amazing pool and spa. I can’t wait til I can come back again and enjoy this place.

This is officially the fourth time my family and I have stayed at Palm & Piedra and this time we brought some friends along with us. Everyone was so impressed with the property and the attention to detail that made this such a wonderful stay (yet again.) From the incredibly well stocked kitchen to the gorgeous bedrooms and outdoor spaces, this is by far one of our favorite high-desert staycation spots!

Kassandra's place was perfect for our Memorial weekend getaway. She was very responsive and exceptionally nice. Her place was clean and clutter free. It had all of the amenities you could want. The location was right next to the trails, literally in your backyard. Her place was more beautiful in person. I would definitely stay here again and recommend.

This house is amazing. Has everything you need. Every time we were looking for something, it was right where it should be. Some properties you only want to sleep there. This is the opposite, it’s hard to leave!!

Zabi was a great host, that gave me information before I even asked! very comprehensive. the place was great! had extra stuff like the stuff for smores that the kids loved. clean and cozy home!

This property is absolutely gorgeous!! Between their beautiful zen room that looks out to the horses at the nearby stables, to their cozy living room where everyone can relax, it’s hard to choose what my favorite part of this stay really was. The host was so rapid to respond and help with any questions I had!! I wish I could’ve stayed longer!! It was absolutely perfect!! thank you for this amazing stay!!

Amazing and truly cozy house! We stayed for 2 weeks. Kitchen had everything we needed. The house is very clean and well maintained. Lots of blankets to cozy up with! Backyard is really pretty and lots of spots to hang out. Wood burning fireplace was such a hit! Really nice quiet neighborhood. Great grocery stores and coffee shops nearby. The hosts were really nice and very responsive. Overall a fantastic experience!

We had a great stay! I would highly recommend! Loïc was an amazing host! Very responsive. The place was exactly as described. Also, a major plus was having AC in the bedroom, this is pretty rare in big bear and was amazing to have! We would definitely stay again!

Our family had a great stay! We enjoyed the shuffle board, fire lit and the jacuzzi! The home was very spacious, and clean. Blake and Talia were quick to response whenever we had questions or concerns. Thank you very much!!!

A Beautiful Cabin surrounded by the forest with lots of snow play space! Let me begin by saying that photos don’t do justice to this place. All bedrooms have beautiful views. The loft was the perfect place to read a book in a comfy couch. Views from the back deck are amazing. Loved everything about it! There was so much snow! We went sledding right outside the house. Kitchen is fully stocked and even had extra seasonings (Thank God because I had forgotten to bring salt). We wanted a snowy place to sled without having to look around town and this is the place for it! Cabin has a whole national forest as backyard! Kids had a blast, adults had a nice quiet weekend getaway and I had time for myself while the kids played outside. Thank you so much Stephanie for hosting us. Thank you for being responsive and thank you for the experience!

Had a great weekend with the family was just what we needed. Enjoyed the kitchen with the large peninsula and the Hot Tub was great!

Airbnb was everything that was expected, beautiful home and beautiful surroundings. Roberta made the experience very easy and peaceful with everything!

This was my favorite Airbnb experience to date. We came out to Big Bear for a leader retreat and I could not have asked for a more accommodating place. The bedding was fantastic, the kitchen was well equipped (we cooked five full meals for nine people), and the place was extremely clean. There were also some kind and intentional details like a bottle of wine upon arrival, and a popcorn maker complete with many salt flavors! The best part of this place was the incredible view that made every part of our retreat that much more impactful. I definitely hope to come back!

Luiza and Jack's cabin was in fact, one for the books. It had everything we needed, fully stocked, everything was very clean, design and decor was thought out perfectly. My husband and I appreciated all the little details that made all the difference. We come from the busy, hustle and bustle and are parents to a special needs son. It was a perfect getaway with very little work or maintenance to do on our own. We thank you both so much, and plan to return again!

It was an excellent choice, the house accommodated us perfectly during our stay, very suitable for children's holidays... it has everything necessary for comfort. It will definitely be our next choice!!!

Stayed here over Father’s Day weekend - it was a nice little getaway! Bonus points for the Traeger smoker , we had a little bbq for dinner and just relaxed. The back patio and lights make it homey and cozy. It’s also close to the city center and nature walks/hikes/kayaking in Big Bear too. The place was super clean and we loved the interior decor, as well. Highly recommend. Thanks!

This was one of the best and most memorable experiences of our stay in Big Bear. Jeff and Anika's houses are decorated with love, with great attention to detail. These small but sweet details give the houses a cozy feel, thanks to which you feel at home. The houses are completely consistent with the description and photos. This is not our first stay with Jeff and Anika and we will definitely come back to you again. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable!

We had a wonderful stay in this quaint cabin in Big Bear! The cabin is private and comfortable. We appreciated all of the amenities such as the fully stocked kitchen, extra blankets, wood fireplace, tv, and bbq. The area was super peaceful and walkable. We slept great, the beds were comfortable and the house was quiet. Overall, we had a fantastic stay, the cabin was a great value for money and we hope to return again soon!
