Wir fühlten uns wie zu Hause. Herr Ariana war immer für uns da, sehr freundlich und hilsbereit. Seine Kochkünste waren unglaublich. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Sehr familiär. Herr Ariana hat uns ebenfalls einen Privaten Fahrer organisiert (Herr Gede). Falls Ihr einen Fahrer benötigt verlangt Herrn Gede. Ebenfalls sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Falls Ihr die Natur mögt und eine weniger Touristische Seite von Bali kennenlernen möchtet seid ihr hier genau richtig. Natur pur und perfekt für die Erholung. Silber Kurse ect. ebenfalls nach kurzer Autofahrt erreichbar. Wunderschöner Blick auf den Mount Agung. Wir werden diesen Aufenthalt sowie die Gastfreundschaft nie vergessen.

We had an incredible stay and will definitely be back. Made was so welcoming and professional - he also assisted with ordering dinner to our villa from a nearby restaurant which had the best food ever! Definitely a must stay, awesome view hidden in the jungle.

This super villa gave us a great experience! The value for money is perfect and the rooms are great. There was good contact and all questions were answered right away. Also, breakfast was arranged which I did not know about so this was more positive. Quiet and close to the beach location.

What can you say about this place?? An absolute delight!! We were lucky enough to have 5 nights and it was a real highlight for us and a beautiful place to make memories. The house itself is quite remarkable. The detail and natural flow make it so serene and calming to be in and you can tell it was built with care and love. Nyoman was kind enough to send pictures of the build and explained how they used only local trades to do the work which was important to them, and as a result you can feel the community within. Some people may not be fussed either way but for us it really added to experience. It’s: situated a perfect 5min drive out of Ubud and the village was the perfect antidote to the hectic pace of town. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance and everything you need if you want to stay local. Nyoman was so generous and kind with our kids and genuinely wanted us to experience his community which was awesome. A beautiful man! Hopefully we’re back soon. Thank you!?

我们同行三人都非常喜欢这套别墅，花园风景很好，床铺柔软且每天有专人负责整理，两个房间内空调性能都很好，夜晚很舒适。 房东为我们准备了驱蚊水，即使有蚊虫也可以缓解。 周边有一些餐厅和按摩店，比较便利。 时不时可能会有小猫到访，我们都很爱见到她🥰只不过有时她可能会有点暴躁🥲大家要小心观察她的情绪，以免打扰到她。 房东很有耐心也很热心，为我们提供了非常好的住房体验。

Overall a very nice and private place. It’s a cool setup with indoor bedroom and outdoor living area and bathroom. The Host is very communicative and polite. The only thing to us was the private pool and bathtub, which is great to have, however the rice farmer next door can see everything in the garden and was around a lot as well.

Very nice accomodation with 2 cute waterfalls nearby. You can order food by messenger from restaurants since it is a little bit remote.

The house itself is beautiful—spacious, well-designed, and the pool was a fantastic bonus. We really enjoyed the space overall. One downside was that the shared living room is in a separate building, and with only one key, it made things tricky when different people wanted to use it. The area to the right felt safe and walkable, but to the left, we didn’t feel as comfortable exploring, so we stuck to one side. The staff were lovely—friendly, warm, and helpful throughout our stay. The chef/housekeeper was also very kind and clearly meant well, but she was a bit too involved for us. She often asked where we were going, who we were with, and when she could come back. While it may be cultural, we had booked the place for privacy, so it didn’t quite suit our needs. There were only three of us, so the key situation for the bedrooms worked fine, but if two people were sharing a room, one key might not be ideal. A wonderful beachfront getaway! The villa was perfect—comfortable, clean, and with stunning views. The service was attentive and thoughtful, making us feel truly cared for. Plus, the price was very reasonable for such quality. Highly recommend!

Wer die Natur Nordbalis sucht, findet sie hier. Die Unterkunft war wunderschön, mit einzigartiger Energie. Alles war sehr liebevoll gestaltet, der Garten+Pool ein Traum. Mit Feinheiten, wie bereits bereitgestelltes Essen und Poolzubehör merkte man bereits, was sich später zeigte. Es sollte erwähnt sein, dass es trotzdem zu einem sehr unerfreulichen Zwischenfall. Aber erst damit konnte der Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderem werden. Nachdem wir uns verzweifelt an Ketut wandten, standen seine Mitarbeiter sofort bereit und fanden für alle kuriosen Theman eine schnelle und sehr zufriedenstellende Lösung. Das aufrichtige Bestreben, uns in der Unterkunft wohlfühlen zu lassen, war direkt spürbar, die Kommunikation sehr gut und das Entgegenkommen dann ein Highlight des Aufenthaltes. So wurden wir neben weiteren Entschädigungen, bei einem gemeinsamen, traditionellen Abendessen verwöhnt. Da Fehler passieren können, der Umgang damit aber entscheidend ist, empfehlen wir die Unterkunft sehr!

This is a truly special place we’ll never forget. We’ve traveled a lot, but never stayed in such a unique home. It’s not about traditional comfort — it’s about the atmosphere of total silence, nature, and solitude. The house is set deep in the rice fields and jungle, with no one around — only the sounds of nature. Nights can feel a bit scary, but mornings are pure bliss. The pool is filled with natural spring water — no chemicals, just cold, clean freshness. We spent the whole day swimming, even though we usually avoid hotel pools. The architecture of the house is incredible — it makes you feel deeply connected to nature and yourself. And a special thank you to the host — so kind and welcoming. He helped us light a fire and set up a cozy BBQ evening. We’ll remember this experience for a long time.

What a magnificent place! From the welcome juice and fresh fruit plate on arrival to the pristine temple grounds this place could not get any better! Anselmus and his team are excellent hosts! Fast at responding to messages and respecting privacy at the villa! The pictures do not do this place any justice! You do have creepy crawlers etc around the bathroom but that’s to be expected when you’re in the jungle! The whole area is area is full of traditional Balinese culture! From the sacred pools just a short walk away to the temple right above the very private villa! It is very isolated and not close to amenities for convenience but if peace and tranquility is your vibe then this is the place for you! Anselmus and his team cook some very tasty meals with prior arrangement! Overall our experience here was above and beyond our expectations! A very unforgettable stay and hopefully make it back some day soon!

Wir waren für eine Nacht in dieser schönen Unterkunft. Sie war perfekt für Erholung. Es gab gratis Trinkwasser und ein sehr leckeres Frühstück. Wir haben auch die Möglichkeit genutzt, über sie Abendessen zu bestellen. Das gesamte Team war sehr nett und half uns ebenfalls, den Weitertransport zu organisieren. Es muss einem nur klar sein, dass es weiter weg vom nächsten Ort ist und mitten in der Natur ist.

Villa Idanna in the rural village of Sidemen is a pure slice of Bali paradise. The property is beautiful, thoughtfully laid out, clean and with every comfort you could want. The beauty of the villa marries seamlessly with the stunning natural surrounds, views of Sidemen and Mt Agung. Nengah, Wayan and team create a calm, kind and ultra relaxed atmosphere, seamlessly catering to every need. Breakfast and dinner, so fresh and delicious, most days we couldn’t eat lunch as we were too full. The chef very kindly catered for our daughter who struggles a little with unfamiliar foods (as she is autistic) and prepared a version of the meal without sauces etc. Freshly brewed coffee in the mornings and for afternoon tea usually with a tasty Balinese treat. The villa is very well positioned with Laksmi silver making class, and a couple of wurangs within easy walking distance. During our stay we enjoyed a wonderful balance of activity and relaxation. Villa Idanna is truly special, we will be back.

Kadek und sein Familie sind in Sachen Service nicht zu Überbieten. Frühstück konnte bestellt werden. Weltbestes Omelett. Essen in der Familie war srhr nett und informativ….rundherum, sehr empfehlenswert.

Une vraie cabane de Robinson Crusoe, on est plongé au cœur de la jungle. Le logement traditionnel est très atypique appelle à une déconnexion totale. L’accueil est parfait et le petit déjeuner est très savoureux. Nous avons passé un excellent, je recommande si vous cherchez de l’authenticité. Attention, l’endroit est très isolée, accès 10 minutes à pied. Toutes les pièces sont ouvertes, il ne faut pas avoir peur des petits animaux (inoffensifs) de la jungle…

Stéphanie, Ludovic et Manon se sont pliés en quatre pour nous. fraîcheur de la montagne, qui eût cru qu'un fasse un feu de cheminée proche de l'équateur ! ils nous ont aussi aidé à trouver les guides pour les activités, petit trekking et cascades. et cuisine au top. Merci !

The room is clean and tidy. You can hear nature sounds from outside. The sunrise is beautiful as the window faces east. The staff are friendly and help with our luggage.
