Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Sunshine Coast Regional District

The comfort of the cabin was perfect for our rainy weekend away as we ended up spending most of our stay indoors. The little fireplace kept the space cozy and warm for when we came in from the hot tub. Plenty of room to set up a large dog bed and the enclosed deck was wonderful to allow her to roam without any worry of her wandering off. We had a lovely time at Ash & Brett's.

Sharon was an absolute amazing host! She had everything clearly labeled in her house from the recycling to where to find remotes and things, etc. Anytime I had a question she answered me within a matter of minutes. Absolutely gorgeous home! Walkable to anything you would need to do on the island. Very quiet, peaceful, gorgeous weather. Slightly rainy on one of the days and beautiful and sunny on the other days. Would 10 out of 10 recommend!

We had a great stay! The sauna, cold plunge and hot tub were awesome. Lots of space to hang out, cook meals and play board games. An easy drive or 10 min walk to amenities- great place, I’d come back again!

Coastal retreat was lovely and perfect for two couples. 2 bathrooms seemed like quite a luxury. Suite was clean, view and property were beautiful. Dyan greeted us when we arrived. Dyan and Des were responsive and friendly. Would definitely recommend this property and would for sure stay again. Everything was exactly as described.

A very comfortable homely place - “secret walk” down to the nearby beach involving a bit of scrambling which our little grandsons loved - a real getaway- house had everything we needed plus fire pit and bbq - a place you’ll want to return to and we hope we will

I recently stayed at Ashley's place, and it was an exceptional experience! The property was exactly as described (and even better in person). It was spotless, cozy, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in the décor and amenities made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect, especially the view was amazing. I loved the closed huge backyard too because of my dog. Ashley was incredibly welcoming and providing clear communications. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. We definitely gonna stay at this place again. This time Summer.

Thank you Sue and Bryon for a great stay! Sue responded to our request on Friday morning at 6am after we had an issue with our previous Airbnb and let us check in early later that day after our last minute booking. It was our first time traveling with our newborn baby and this place was perfect! Highly recommend and thanks again !

The chalet was absolutely beautiful - spacious, cozy, and located right in front of the water! I would 100% recommend staying here. Wendy was the sweetest host - super helpful and went out of her way to accommodate both an early check-in and a later check-out for us. She even surprised me with the cutest mug for my birthday, how thoughtful is that?! Honestly, everything was perfect. We can’t wait to come back!

This was a fabulous rental, it was perfect in every way. Every step of this booking was just a great experience, the host was so friendly and fun to chat with and thought of everything a traveller might need. Our family of 5 plus our dog enjoyed our stay at Oceanside Escapes. Johanna and Julie were readily available to answer any questions that we had before and during our stay. The cabin was well-supplied and had a binder listing many local recommendations. It was a short walk to Rathtrevor Beach which we all enjoyed, particularly our dog. All essential amenities and many attractions were nearby. The central air conditioner was especially helpful in keeping the whole cabin cool during the hotter days. We will be back.

I stayed at Lauri's place for a week while working remotely, and it was exactly what I needed. The deck offers a great view - perfect for morning coffee or unwinding in the evening. The area is quiet and peaceful, I could really focus during the day and relax afterwards. Even though it wasn't a vacation, I left feeling recharged. The cabin, though small, was well-equipped and comfortable, and the natural beauty around made it a memorable experience.

Cindy is wonderful host. Her place is as described and it was what my husband and I were looking for, a quiet place to relax and enjoy each other's company. Her dogs are very friendly and they got along well with our dog. The cabin is small, however with the high ceiling and lots of large windows letting in natural light, it doesn't feel small. The kitchen is equipped with the basics, and had what I needed to cook a few dinners during our stay. The bathroom is spacious and has a large skylight letting in the natural light. The outside deck is the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking. Both my husband and I enjoyed our stay.

I spent three days on the Sunshine Coast and stayed at this charming little Airbnb with my partner, and we were absolutely blown away. The place is super cute, cozy, and just a 10-minute drive from the ferry. Coralie is an incredibly kind and welcoming host who made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. It was such a relief to leave Vancouver behind for a bit and reconnect with nature. Being surrounded by forest with a view of the ocean was truly something special. The cabin is small, but thoughtfully designed and perfectly laid out, everything you need is right there. What really made the experience magical was the sound of the nearby river. It created the most peaceful atmosphere and helped me completely unwind and sleep like a baby. Highly recommend this little heaven, I’m already dreaming of coming back.

We had a great stay! The neighbourhood was very peaceful. We really enjoyed grilling on the Weber BBQ and appreciated the multiple fans available in the cottage. The pillows were some of the best I've slept on! My toddler said it was her favourite place that we've stayed. Thanks!

We always love our time on the Sunshine Coast, and enjoyed this cute RV. The heat wasn't working on our first night, and Tyla and Arad were very quick to respond and help provide solutions. We really appreciate clean, well taken care of, pet friendly rentals. Would stay again!

Laura place was perfect for our needs. We were visiting for a long weekend. We loved the quiet, foresty surroundings and the proximity to both Sechelt and Gibons. The interior met our expectations in every way. Thank you for your attention to detail Laura! Roxy, our dog, felt right at home and the luxury vinyl was perfect for her and our clean-up as well.

The view from the patio is breathtaking—I could have spent the whole vacation just sitting out there. The apartment was spotless and so thoughtfully prepared, with every detail covered. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the linens were top-notch. My dog was just as pampered as I was, with a bed, treats, bowls, and even towels set out for him. There was coffee, tea, sugar, and cream in the fridge, and a bowl of Lindt chocolates on the counter—such a sweet touch. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and when the TV wasn’t working, they came right away to fix it. It’s about 10 km from town up a very steep windy road so I’d suggest bringing what you need (food etc) with you as you may not want to go back-and-forth. Overall spectacular stay. Highly recommended!!

I really enjoyed my stay. Some things I really loved about this place included: the beach access at the end of the Rd. It was by far one of my favourite things about the location. Basically a private beach to yourself with smooth rocks at low tide (no barnacles) so perfect for swimming. The yard was fully fenced in which was perfect for my dog. We had lots of space to play with her frisbee. The garden was beautiful. The rhododendrons and big cedar trees were stunning. The property is only a few minutes away from the Gumboot Cafe and Gibsons. Plan to eat out if you’re staying here.
