Unique cottage on the shore of Kemijärvi

We offer accommodation in connection with our cottage on the beautiful shores of Kemijärvi. The price of the accommodation includes the use of a sleeping cabin, a separate kitchen cabin, a sauna and an outdoor toilet. The cottage is located 12 km from the center of Kemijärvi. Beds for two in a log cabin. Electricity + heating. Well-equipped kitchen. No running water. The host will take care of the drinking water in the kitchen. Wood-burning stove. Washing in the sauna, use shifts are agreed with the host. The host uses the other buildings of the place.

Welcome to Piilopirtti, an atmospheric log cabin in the Arctic Circle, on the shores of Kemijärvi, just 7 km from Suomutunturi. The cottage is located on a large lot and offers sweeping views of the lake and dangerous landscapes. From the village you can take the castle to a stunning sandy beach. The starting point of the ski trails is 2 km away, but from the yard you can go directly to the lake ice for skiing. For the fisherman, Kemijärvi offers abundant catches. Jam, blueberries, and lingonberries right on the corner of the cabin await the pickers.

Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the old and idyllic school in the spacious apartment upstairs (kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms, sauna/WC/shower, 2 hallways). The beautiful surroundings offer wonderful outdoor opportunities - the ski trail to the nearby hills starts from the yard, the adjacent lake allows ice fishing, in the summer you can hike and pick berries in the nearby hills, a rowing boat is waiting on the school beach. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The apartment and yard are well suited for families with children.

Nestled on the edge of a beautiful and clean lake, this log cabin is suitable for you who love nature and want to spend your holidays relaxing without the immediate neighbours. There is a boat on the shore of the cottage. The cottage and sauna are heated with wood. The fridge and stove run on gas. The water is carried from the lake and the water is heated in the water tank of the sauna stove. Electricity is provided by solar panels. In the yard, an outdoor shower. During the winter season, solar panels are not in use.

This unique cottage is located on the road Pahtapisto, but still in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Suomutunturi ski resort. 1ha Private island, small cabin and lakeside sauna. Beds for 4-6. Gas stove, 2x fireplace. One separate bedroom and in the living room there's two sofas suitable for sleeping. Electricity comes from the sun and, if necessary, from generator. Outdoor sauna (no shower) and outhouse (no WC). Water from well. You can swim directly from the sauna at your own small sandy beach, or you can even splash into the water from the pier. Access to island by boat takes about 6 minutes.
