This cottage has 6 tatami mats in the bedroom, a living room (4.5 tatami mats + 8 tatami flooring, including a kitchen), a bathroom with a bathtub, and a 100-inch large-screen projector. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove (2 ports), a refrigerator, a microwave, a toaster, cooking utensils and dishes, and there is a stopover hot spring (adult 700 yen ~), a hinoyasan, a direct sales shop for vegetables picked in the morning, a delicious bakery and a set meal shop within walking distance. From waking up in the morning to sleeping at night, this is the perfect location to feel the sea and spend some time with your family and friends. This tiny house is within walking distance to all the beaches in Kisami. (Iritahama is the nearest beach, 7 minutes on foot/11 m above sea level) Especially recommended for those who love the sea, surfing, and swimming! There is also a Wi-Fi environment in the facility, so please use it for long-term stays and travel as a base for workcation and Izu travel. The kitchen is equipped with a single burner stove (gas) and simple cooking utensils, dishes, and condiments. We also provide free rental items for guests to use. Bicycles and kickboards are available for free, so please feel free to use them for a stroll during your stay. If you'd like to BBQ, please check the house rules for details. Also, please note that the facility is non-smoking, so please smoke outdoors. Please see the house rules for smoking areas. Access is 10 minutes by bus from Izukyu Shimoda Station, get off at Iritah stop and walk 3 minutes, or 5 minutes by car from Izukyu Shimoda Station. This is the perfect accommodation for families.It can accommodate up to 6 people, and there is no additional charge for the number of people.The idea is to “live like you live.”The retro Japanese house has a lot of Japanese atmosphere.Located on a hill, the window is in three directions, so you can see Shimoda Park, Shimoda Port, and Shimoda downtown as if it were a view from the castle.Especially the evening view is spectacular.It is located in the city, within walking distance to food, hot spring public baths, supermarkets, post offices, convenience stores, and Perry Road, a tourist attraction.The Shimoda Underwater Aquarium is also close to the Izu Shichijima Sailing Ground and the dog-running island, which is a popular fishing spot.It is a 15-minute walk from Izukyu Shimoda Station.Reception and check-in will be at the NPO Izu in Kamo 6 "Taruya" (Shimoda-shi 3-1-23), which is a 5-minute walk.There is a parking lot for one car in a 2-minute walk.Because it is located on a hill up the stairs, we cannot accommodate wheelchairs.Carrying heavy luggage is difficult.

This house is a traditional 20 year old Japanese house. It is totally private as it's surrounded by trees. There is a walkway 5 minutes down to Shirahama Beach which is arguably one of the nicest beaches in Japan. We have added a large deck to the house for outdoor living. The bedrooms are very traditional Japanese. The kitchen is large and easy to use. We have a coffee machine, rice cooker, screen with HDMI chord (adapter needed for your device) and blue tooth speaker for your use.
