Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Suttons Bay

This modern and well designed rental home was just what we were looking for...a quiet, peaceful spot for 3 friends to catch up and reconnect. Hosts were very responsive, answering questions before the booking was made, offering early check-in, and responding to questions during the stay. The setting is unusual for the Leelanau Peninsula, with the home nestled on a quiet forested lot that feels just like camping...but with all of the luxuries the home has to offer. Comfy beds, hot tub, solo stove (BYO firewood), well equipped kitchen, and a short drive to the lakes/bays and rolling orchard and vineyard views the region is known for. Easy access to Sutton's Bay, 9 bean rows (coffee, desserts, lunch), and the Leelanau Trail. Perfect as a quiet retreat. Looking forward to another visit again soon!

Perfect location and a wonderful host! Far enough away from downtown for privacy, but close enough where it’s easy to get to everything (downtown Traverse City, Old Mission wineries, etc) also there’s a very nice walking path in the back, which is a great way to start the morning. Highly recommend!

I stayed at Melissa's place with a group of 4 other girls for my sister's bachelorette party. Not only was the space perfect sized for our group, but the girls and I could not get over how amazing the property was. We obsessed over the view from the kitchen window, the decor and gingham curtains in the living room, and the loft bedroom. Everything was so well done and thought through and we spent a majority of our time during the weekend hanging out at the house, having dinner on the front porch, and admiring the baby pigs!! And when we did venture into Sutton's Bay or Traverse City, the ride was smooth and had beautiful scenery of up north Michigan. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked and the linens were definitely adequate for all of us to sleep comfortably. I will definitely be booking here again!

We loved our stay at the Hoxie Homestead. The location was central to all of northern Michigan’s cute towns and beaches. The property was clean and well laid-out. Loved the decor, and the master bed was super comfy and soft. The hot tub and sauna were perfect. We would certainly stay again.

The cottage was so cute and has its original charm! Directly on the water and a nice fire pit to utilize! Just a quick stroll down the path and you’re at the beach. The cottage is well equipped with things you need on the daily. We just bought some groceries and were good to go! The location is perfect! It’s very close to Leland Fish Town, downtown Lake Leelanau, Suttons Bay, and Sleeping Bear Dunes. Dandan was a wonderful host! Friendly and responsive. Clear instructions. It was truly a lovely getaway and Dandan is an excellent host!

We felt right at home here. It was clean and had everything we needed! She thought of all the small things like fans, black out curtains (in the kids’ room), a coffee bar, kitchen basics and even crayons/coloring books. With two small children, the games, toys and large yard were awesome! Very private and central to everywhere we wanted to go.

What a beautiful cabin! Sometimes the pictures look nice and you get there and it is not like that, NOT HERE! So wonderful and very clean! I give this a 20 out of ten. The host is very nice and Accommodating. I would definitely stay here again, to be honest I didn’t want to leave because it was so peaceful and comfortable there.

This was the perfect location to enjoy my Fall birthday celebration. The house was beautiful, private, peaceful, and relaxing. The architecture of the home was cool and quirky (in a good way) - like an artist’s retreat. We felt very comfortable and hope to go back again.

It was a beautiful setting. Attached to the winery but on the back side so we had privacy too.

My husband and I enjoyed a weekend away at Paula's unique property. We ate at a few of the restaurants; it was nice having multiple options nearby. We went hiking and explored the beautiful grounds. We also enjoyed some time on the porch. I would definitely stay at Paula's place again!

My partner and I’s stay at Jeffrey and Holly’s suite was outstanding. The space felt incredibly homely, with cozy decor and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and well-equipped with snacks, coffee, beach amenities, you name it - and we loved using their kayaks for exploring Silver Lake. They were friendly and provided smooth check-in instructions. The price for the area far beats any hotel we could have booked considering how comfortable, clean, and private the unit was. As other reviews said, mechanical noises and footsteps can be heard, but this did not bother us at all. We loved this unit so much, we will probably check the availability for our next trip to TC. This was hands down the best AirBNB we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

Love, love, LOVE this little apartment! It was so homey and cute. Handicap accessible, which is a must for us on this trip. My SIL could easily navigate her mechanical chair through the area as it was so open. The beds ended up being too high to move my SIL in and out of, but the pull out couch was perfect height. All the beds were so comfortable- we all commented on how it was the best sleep we’ve all had in a while. Stacey was super awesome to work with and quickly responded to messages. Easy check in process. And, we could walk to the softball tournament. The only bummer is that we didn’t have enough time to walk to the art fair next door. We walked to the park, walked to get ice cream & Starbucks- great location! Strict 10pm “quiet time” was a non-issue: we were so tired every night, we went straight to bed. Great stay in Traverse City. Thank you, Stacey and Roy!

So fun for our family of 4. We enjoyed the lake and cozy accommodations. Can hear people walking and talking upstairs, which were used to and felt right at home. Thoughtful instructions made everything clear. All was spotless and clean. A real treasure!

We loved this apartment! It was clean, the bed was comfy and the decor was charming. Parking is right on site and check in was a breeze - we had no issues. We walked to downtown TC - about a 10-15 minute leisurely walk. The neighborhood is stunning - beautiful homes. I would definitely stay here again!

This place was AMAZING! So clean, had everything we needed, and very well stocked! We will be staying here again when we return to Traverse City.

Our group of four loved our stay at Mary Ann's Traverse City home - spacious, comfortable and pristine. We especially enjoyed the patio to unwind after a long day sightseeing.

Perfect location and exactly what we needed. Very quiet. Grounds were beautiful. My only question going in was if the brew pub in the same building would be a distraction but definitely was not. Actually the opposite. We had multiple nice visits there, friendly staff and closes early too. The immediate surrounding area was very quiet and peaceful after 9 PM Saturday night The ability to temporarily pull up to the ground level front door to unload vehicle was handy. So many food and drink options within a few minute walk and great hiking trails right behind building up into hills west of TC were also great. Would stay again for sure. The history of the facility is very interesting and would recommend taking one of the tours available.

Beautiful accommodations. K.C. was a fantastic host and went above and beyond to accommodate us and made sure that we had a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect and we will definitely be back and recommend to our friends and family.

This was our first time to Traverse City and we lucked up finding this condo on the beach/water! It was decorated so cute with modern/clean touches. Very easy to enter/leave with press-lock. The bed is SO comfortable. We were very appreciative of the 'Welcome' book with recommendations of things to do/places to see around Traverse. Would definitely book here again!
