You don't often come across a place like this on Airbnb. The more than 130-year-old log cabin in the cultural heritage landscape of Suvanto takes its residents on a time travel to a 19th century village in the far north of Finland. The property is best suited for a friend of Lapland's nature, history and silence, who is not afraid of the dark in winter or mosquitoes in summer. Please note: there is no public transportation to the village, no toilet in the main building, nor a shower. There is a separate sauna building outside and a traditional outhouse behind the sauna.

Accommodation for 3, up to 5 beds for those sleeping in their own sleeping bags. The kitchenette has a hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster and dishes (glasses, mugs, plates, coffee presses, cutlery, etc.). There are showers in the adjacent beach sauna. Composting wood toilet. The sauna is wood-heated. If necessary, we will guide you in heating the sauna. Available in summer and early autumn.

The villa is only 300m from the ski slopes and 50m from the cross-country ski trails. This unique getaway offers you and your family the opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of the Arctic wilderness of Lapland, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. If you are traveling with a larger group, it is also possible to rent the adjacent villa, Kimmelvilla B.

Can fit up to 11 ppl and has everything you need for a perfect holiday in Lapland. Week and longer reservations include 2 x adult ski passes for Pyhä ski resort (ski season). Towels and bedlinen: extra fee of 30€ / person. Note: this includes also handtowels 2 medium size efatbikes for rent (30€ per 🚲 / day)
