This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. A traditional Japanese-style house from the late Edo period. Fully renovated in 2019. This area is famous for its ceramic production, and old kilns are around. The location is 5 min walk to Tokoname station (two stops from the airport). A convenience store is few steps away, and, within walking distance, there are supermarket, pharmacy, laundry, etc. Good access to a duty-free shopping mall and a public spa & bath by train or bus. Easy to access to Nagoya(40 min), Kyoto(1.5h) and Osaka(2h).

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!
