Little Red Riding Hood's House - hidden in the deep, quiet forest

Rødhættes Hus is a tiny house, which is peaceful and idyllic on the shore of Kovad Bækken, in a clearing in the middle of Rold Skov and overlooking the meadow and forest. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful forest lake St. Øksø. The perfect starting point for hiking and mountain biking in Rold Forest and Rebild Hills or as a quiet shelter in the tranquility of the forest, from which life can be enjoyed, perhaps with the mouse owl hovering over the meadow, the squirrel darting up the tree trunk, a good book in front of the wood stove or coziness in the firelight at night.

The house is located on the shore of Hornum Lake on private land along the lake shore. Possibility of swimming from a private beach and fishing from the lake shore as well as a campfire. There is a bathroom with toilet and sink, and showering takes place under the outdoor shower. Kitchen with 2 hotplates, refrigerator with freezer - but no oven. The lease is from 1 pm to 10 am the following day. There is a heat pump, soap, dishwashing detergent, cleaning supplies, etc. - but remember to bring bed linen😀 and towels, and pets are welcome, just not on the furniture.

Right outside the door there are marked hiking trails, and close to MTB tracks as well as riding trails. Possibility of grass paddocks for horses within 1 km. Ørnhøj Golf Club is only 8 km away and 20 km to Rold Skov Golf Club.

A central but quiet location, close to pedestrian streets, cafes and restaurants and where you can easily take a walk along Aalborg's beautiful waterfront. The apartment is less than a kilometer from Aalborg station, and good bus connections take you to the airport within 15 minutes. Look forward to feeling at home in our home.

It is 300 meters to the fjord where there are benches so you can sit and enjoy your packed lunch and watch the ships sail by. If you want to come to Aalborg and enjoy the city life, it is 20 minutes by car to the city center. The bathing-friendly beaches are 15 km away and can be enjoyed in all seasons. Cold drinks and snacks are available, as well as free coffee/tea

The annex is located on a natural plot in the woods with the golf course as the nearest neighbor and close to Aalborg, 15 minutes to the city bus. Whether it's a city vacation, golf, mountain biking, road cycling, you have plenty of opportunities to meet your needs here with us. We are happy to help you with good advice if you ask. Enjoy the garden or the sunset over the lake from the bench, or take a walk in the Swan Mill Park, which is located at the end of the garden. The cottage is centrally located in Svenstrup town. 5 minutes walk to Svenstrup train station, where you can get to Aalborg in 9 minutes. Shopping such as SuperBrugsen, Rema or Coop365 is a two-minute walk from the cottage.

Huset er ca. 10m2 plus terrasse og rummer tekøkken, spiseplads og dobbeltseng samt mulighed for ekstra opredning. Gulvarme sikrer komfort året rundt. Stort udeareal med bålsted, parkering tæt på og adgang til primitive toilet- og køkkenfaciliteter ca. 100 meter fra hytten.

We are therefore always present. The apartment is on the 1st floor and consists of a kitchen and living room, 2 separate bedrooms and a bathroom with a washer and dryer In addition, my husband runs his business from the address.
