Ila is a nice neighborhood with parks, cafés, galleries, nice hiking areas, bakery and grocery stores. All this is virtually right outside the door.

Jetty is available at Selbusjøen in summer. From here you can paddle in a kayak/canoe or row a trip. The farm is close to Gjenvollhytta and Langmyra ski resort if you want to go skiing on groomed slopes. Day trips to Kråkfjellet and Rensfjellet are possible. Vassfjellet is 10 min away and only 30 min to Trondheim :)
