Cleeve Byre- A Cosy Thatch In An Idyllic Village

ClaireRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The cottage was immaculate, cosy and welcoming. Set in an idyllic village with Salisbury 15mins away by car which we highly recommend. The pub in Broad Chalke, The Queens Head was within a 10 min walk from the cottage, the food was very good with a good ambiance! We particularly enjoyed watching the Llamas from the cottage windows of an evening in the adjacent field. We would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be returning!

Garden House Cottage

“ We had a lovely stay at the cottage which was spotlessly clean, welcoming and set in the most picturesque surroundings. We would not hesitate to recommend this cottage to others, a 5 star property”

The Snug: Dorset hideaway

CameronRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Lovely place to stay. It was very private and cosy, with a comfy bed, large TV, sofa, and a kitchen stocked with cooking utensils. The TV had the facility to watch streaming services on it which was great. The rain shower was nice. Blandford Forum is a nice town and it has lots of independent restaurants and cafes. It was easy to drive to attractions such as Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove in around 40 mins.

Homely charm in the heart of town

LisaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We spent a weekend here with our teenagers. The house is beautiful. The garden is lovely - in sun and rain! The location is just around the corner from gold hill and a cute little playground built on a hill. It’s easy walking distance to town and the house was so lovely that one morning when it was raining I could not think of a better place to be than in the dining area looking out through luscious house plants to the wild flower garden and listening to birds chirping away. You will feel your blood pressure drop as you sit there and chill out. The lounge area was great for evening family movie viewing and a quick nip up to local shops both evenings for ice cream made it perfect!

Chalke Valley double bedroom, shower & kitchenette

HelenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a great find! In a sleepy village setting, tucked away from the road yet close enough to the owners home if you need anything. I didn’t get to meet Marcus but Tory was not only delightful but could not have been any more welcoming or helpful. Lovely accommodation, clean, bright and all that you need for your stay. Although my dog didn’t go into the accommodation he could have done and was made very welcome. He was given free roam of the fully enclosed garden which made our stay so much easier. Huge thanks to Tory and Marcus for allowing guests in their annex, I’ll be booking again for next time I’m in the area.

Cosy Cottage on 450 pvt acres

The Air BnB of Gwyneth is a wonderful place. It‘s a really cozy little cottage with everything you need. We really liked all the lovely details in the beautiful appartment and we also fell in love with the beautiful flower garden and the landscape around us. Gwyneth was a really nice host. She gave us so many tipps for places to shop, eat and things to do around the Air BnB. We would come back anytime.

Wild Garden Retreat

SerenaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had the most incredible stay in this beautiful hut tucked away in the heart of the English countryside. If you're looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature, this is it. The location is remote, so you’ll definitely need a car, but that’s part of the charm—it feels like a true getaway. Despite its seclusion, it’s within easy driving distance of some fantastic places to eat and explore. We spent our days visiting local villages and scenic spots, then returned each evening to the calm and comfort of the hut. The hut itself had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to do a shop and cook full meals—something we really appreciated. It’s cozy, thoughtfully designed, and made for a wonderfully relaxing base. Fantastic walks on your doorstep. We had a small issue the first night, but Becky resolved it instantly—so helpful and made us feel cared for. We had the best time. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a tranquil break in a stunning setting.

Private cottage with stunning countryside views

DaisyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I booked this cottage for my wedding weekend at Bowerchalke barn. It is absolutely beautiful in a peaceful and idyllic location. The garden is very special with the stream running through it and so much birdsong. The bed was comfortable and kitchen is well equipped. Janina was a very helpful host and kindly let my bridesmaids and photographer come over on the morning of my wedding. She is very responsive. I just wish we had stayed longer - will treasure this place forever! X
