Pogle's Riverside Cabin

SachaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a gorgeous place! Sara you have made a really beautiful, quaint, peaceful retreat here. Beautifully decorated and well equipped riverside cabin. Easy to find, stunning surroundings and wildlife aplenty. The fact that there is no TV, no radio, no wifi and no phone reception is utter BLISS! If you want a digital detox, this is your place. We didn't see a single person for 2 whole days. Sara's instructions were friendly, easy to follow and she even left flowers and prosecco which is a lovely touch. Sara really has thought of everything with Pogle's cabin. Watching the fire as the sun sets, listening to the bird song and running water of the stream is a dream. So nice Sara is happy to have dogs stay here too, they absolutely loved their time here. The walks around the field and across the stream are so pretty and we often saw deer fleeting across. Thank you so much for a much needed weekend of R&R! So happy we have found this little slice of heaven, we will definitely be back.

Two Bedroom House in Bishops Waltham

JohnRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We spent four days and three nights here. Cliff’s house was a perfect choice for us. We enjoyed a high standard of accommodation which was within easy reach of all the destinations we had planned; Winchester Cathedral, Fareham Live Theatre and Hampshire National Trust properties. Cliff is a superb host and was in touch with us, providing every detail of the house we could hope for. The bonus was Bishop’s Waltham itself with its beautiful Abbey ruin and extremely likeable Crown Inn restaurant. We could have stayed longer, but a return visit is always an option.

Cosy Caravan in a quiet rural area

JamesRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Stayed for 1 week. Nice quiet location and caravan is in good condition. We used this for a base to hike in the area (south downs/ new forest) so quiet at night and cooking facilities were important and both were great. Caravan is fully equipped with gas oven/grill, gas hobs, toaster, kettle, TV, radio. Mike responded to messages quickly was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay!

The Woodshed

SabiraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Shannon was a wonderful host, greeted us when we arrived, friendly and accomodating. We stayed at her place for two nights with two young kids and Shannon kindly set up the travel cot and sofa bed for our arrival. The place was clean, thoughtfully designed and had everything you needed for a short stay. We had access to the large outdoor area so the kids could play outside and look at the sheeps. It was exactly as described, safe and peaceful. We enjoyed our time exploring the South Downs and will definitely visit again.

A Writer's Retreat. Beautiful Annex in Meon Valley

AdgeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Writer’s Retreat is exactly that, a real countryside tranquil retreat. The Annex is very comfortable, spacious, beautifully furnished and cared for. Parking is on the premises and very safe. Rachel is very welcoming and the perfect host. And if you can tear yourself away from the delightful morning wildlife show (blue and great tits, a woodpecker and squirrels all feeding outside the big picture window), you are very central to a wide range of visitor attractions and walks. With three pubs in easy walking distance, and restaurants nearby dining out is doddle. Carol and I really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning next summer.

Forest Farm Barn Hampshire

HayleighRating, 5 stars1 month ago
An amazing find, we were so lucky to stay at Forest Farm Barn for a wedding in the area. Our friends and I really appreciated having such a great space to relax in, it's beautiful and full of character, plus the kitchen particularly was really well stocked! It is very open plan so I would recommend staying with people you're comfortable with but there are plenty of bathrooms and living spaces so that, if you need it, you can find a quiet place for yourself also!
