Cabin holiday rentals in Swannanoa

The cabin was lovely and we had a great time there . Communication with owners was easy and prompt. The cabin is hidden in the mountains , but easy to find and with good access . We felt safe . The cabin is 100 years old but beautifully renewed , without taking the feeling that you are in a traditional mountain cabin . We also enjoyed the nearby community and the kind people living in the area . We loved the stay and we plan to return .

The playroom was the BEST! Pool table, darts, and ski-ball! It was wonderful. Our family had a wonderful time. We saw a momma bear with three baby cubs, listened to the cicadas, and watched the fire-flys at night from the front porch. We used the bar-b-que, and enjoyed all there was. Went to the Biltmore and the King Tut exhibit while we were there. I am sure there was so much more to see but we only had 3 days. My family would love to return someday! Thank You!!!

This is a 5 star review only because there’s not an option for more stars. This place is incredible. The cabin has spectacular views of nature. Everything in the cabin is simple and beautiful. Jessica has thought of everything from welcome card and wine to robes and shoes for the hot tub. The cabin is a short drive to Asheville but don’t miss out on what Weaverville has to offer. Lots of local spots with great food and vibes. Our three day stay was absolutely amazing and we did not want to leave. Cannot recommend this place enough! We hope to visit again!

This was our second visit to his little slice of heaven. Kyle was amazing! We forgot our chess set at home and he made sure to bring one for us when he didn't have to do so. As a host he makes sure his home is clean, welcoming, and has everything you would possibly need. He also leaves banana bread that is so good that we talked about prior to arrival! Last year we visited for a birthday, this year it was for our honeymoon and it was beyond expectations. We will be back!

Fantastic stay for my husband’s 40th birthday! This place is gorgeous! The pictures do not do the views justice! It’s private but still close to everything you might need. It was well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies, as well.

Our stay here was absolutely lovely! The location right next to the creek was so peaceful and we fell asleep to the water noises, which was so relaxing! The hot tub was truly divine and a wonderful way to end the night! We have already booked our next stay at this lovely property!

The most perfect place to stay! We loved our stay at Jack’s Retreat, so peaceful with stunning views and we even saw a bear. Enjoyed time in the hot tub and around the fire pit and generally relaxing. The cabin had all kitchen equipment and utensils anyone would ever need. Lots to explore within the local area. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin. The check in and out was super easy. The hosts were understanding, accommodating, and responsive. The cabin itself had games for us on a rainy day, was clean, in a great peaceful location. Would definitely come back!

We especially loved doing yoga together in such a peaceful setting — it was the perfect environment to unwind and reconnect. The location was also fantastic: just a short drive from Asheville and surrounded by amazing hiking trails. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat.

The house is a very cute out in the mountains! The creek in the backyard and the sauna are easily the highlights!

This was our third time staying at this beautiful cabin, and it truly feels like our home away from home. It’s the perfect place for a couple’s retreat — cozy, peaceful, and fully equipped with everything we need. One of the best parts is that it’s pet-friendly! Our dog loves the space and surrounding nature, and we feel so comfortable knowing he’s welcome here. The location is ideal — close to Asheville but tucked away enough to enjoy the quiet and scenery. We’ve stayed in several cabins in the area, and this is by far our favorite. We can’t wait to come back again!

This cabin was absolutely magical! We visited on Memorial Day weekend and it could have been more perfect! It’s a beautiful cabin that has amazing views and really makes you feel at home. Our dog Luna absolutely loved the place! They left a whole variety of movies and games for us to enjoy while we were there as well! They also included a list with the best restaurants, hikes spots and things to do! We didn’t want to leave when our trip was over! Would love to come back one day in the future!

Our visit was epic! The cabin was gorgeous, spacious, inviting, roomy, and comfortable. Great supply of amenities. Julia went the extra mile to make sure we had everthing we needed. Her information packet was very informative. Best of all were the detailed instructions on how to locate the cabin. Julia is friendly and quickly responds to every communication.

This is a gem, a fantastic place to relax in peace in a beautiful home shaded by giant hemlock trees, yet only a few minutes from all downtown Asheville has to offer.

We had a great time at the cabin. Beautiful area, peaceful surroundings and we loved the screened in porch. The road to the driveway is steep and a little worn down but we had no issues in our small SUV. Great place to watch birds and wildlife.

Jaclyn’s place was gorgeous. It was exactly as described—spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The view is spectacular. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need. The cozy living area made it feel like a home away from home. The host was very communicative and gracious. I would highly recommend the wonderful home.

We enjoyed a lovely long weekend at Stephanie's cabin. This was the perfect place for our family with two kids and two elderly grandparents. We loved being by up in the hills and the views from the pitches. The cabin is close to Swannanoa, Asheville, and Black Mountain. If we return to the area, we would love to stay here again!

We had an incredible weekend staying here! The perfect couple’s getaway. The place was spotless and had everything we needed. The bed was a little firmer and smaller than we are used to but still comfortable. The wrap around porch was our favorite part! Would absolutely recommend!

We had the pleasure of experiencing Winter and Spring here and both seasons were so special! If you come during the winter the sky is so beautiful and full of stars through the bare trees. You can sit on the deck, warmed by the fire and gaze for hours. The forest is so quite and peaceful. We had some of the best sleep of our lives here, the beds are perfect. Spring was magical, the trees awakened and almost overnight everything was so lush and green. The sounds of birds during your morning coffee on the deck starts the day off just right. If you are looking for privacy, magic and deep soul healing this is your place! Weaverville is an adorable little town a quick beautiful drive away with many great restaurants. The home has everything you could need and Brenda was always responsive and friendly.

A beautiful, peaceful escape with a breath taking view. Everything was perfect. We hiked in 4 different areas, on 4 separate days, coming back to that sunset view every night. Ahhhh
