We had a great time, quiet and relaxing. The accommodation is conveniently located for visiting Switzerland about 1 hour/1/30 from major destinations (Bern, Neuchâtel, Lausanne, Montreux). The hosts are very attentive and offer delicious products.

Nice place, you could walk to the village. The host gave great tips about places to go. Peaceful farm location. Friendly host.

The studio with magnificent views is in the middle of the vineyards. Old and new form a perfect unit. The bed is super comfy. We had very good recommendations for things to do. Nicole and Raymond are warm and thoughtful hosts. We fully recommend the place.

I was now allowed to be a guest in Zita's log cabin for the second time. Everything was great. The location is simply fantastic. The cottage is clean and well maintained and offers everything necessary for a short break. Zita is super nice and responds reliably to inquiries. I will be happy to come back.

Accommodation in the Swiss countryside with a beautiful view and access to a terrace with chairs, table, barbecue and lounge chair. The bedroom is accessible by a staircase without a door. The accommodation has private access and a private terrace. Close to stables and hiking trails.

9.5/10 Review for Max Chalet Gimmelwald Max Chalet was perfect for our family of three—a fantastic base for a mountain getaway! Surroundings: Gimmelwald is stunning, with hiking right outside the door. We loved the Northface Trail and the easy gondola access to Mürren, Schilthorn, and the valley. Parking at Stechelberg was only $10/day. Entertainment: Hiking was our main activity—beautiful trails and mountain huts. Pension Gimmelwald and Mountain Hostel next door offer meals, drinks, and great pizza (8.5/10). Food: Dining options nearby, more in Mürren, and a grocery store for essentials to cook at Max. The House: Spacious, cozy, clean, with big windows framing epic views. Well-equipped kitchen, laundry room, and a great patio. Quiet at night (bring a fan for white noise). Floors creak but didn’t bother us. Host: Marianne was super responsive and helpful. Summary: We’d absolutely stay again—9.5/10! (We’ve never given a 10, so this is top marks from us!)

We absolutely loved this location, the chalet, the surrounding areas, everything about this place was absolutely beautiful. We booked this place for the views and they did not disappoint!

Christine was very helpful and thoughtful in making our stay as pleasant as possible. The home was equipped with activities and toys to keep our little daughter engaged which was a pleasant surprise.

We enjoyed this beautiful old house very much. The front door will always be remembered, because you rarely see such a great door. A very nice neighborhood, and the beautiful Swiss mountains. What more could you ask for!

Although the weather wasn’t on our side, we still had a wonderful time. Nyree and her family were incredibly kind, and the house was clean and so cozy. The animals were so comforting, and my children already miss their dog Kylie. We also got to try the alpaca duvet—it was unbelievably warm!!! We’d love to visit there again!

it was a perfect getaway in Switzerland, we would definitely come back here. away from all the busy tourists, this place was right in the middle of mountains. perfect for people who would like to be in nature, hiking, mountain biking and lot more possibilities around.

Our experience at Gabriela and Niklaus’s beautiful farm house far superseded our expectations. Both Gabriela and Niklaus went above and beyond to make our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Stayed for a week in May with our 3 teenage kids, the whole family enjoyed the breathtaking views, the traditional Swiss feel, lots of local adventures We will all miss the sounds of the cow bells 😍 already planning a winter trip back, Nicole was a wonderful host and we couldn’t have wished for more

Marye is a very warm and welcoming host. Her units are well equipped with all the basic necessesities, clean and inviting to make you feel at home right away. Great location right on the lake. Wonderful amenities. Directly across from the Villette VD train stop. The house was beautiful, clean, and felt like home. The views were amazing. My husband, myself, daughter and son in law had plenty of room. It was great to be able to have a full kitchen too. Incredible trip!! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Yvonne communicated with us often. Carmen met us at the house and explained everything about the house and area to us. We absolutely loved the house on 3 levels and amazing views from all 3 levels. The spa tub, sauna, and cold plunge were the icing on the cake. There is so much to do in Vitznau/Mt Rigi Spa/Ferry around the lake, and so much more. We will stay here again, soon!
