Waterfront holiday rentals in Switzerland

This is my second time staying in this apartment, and it is the perfect Basel apartment. Amazing location, incredibly clean, tasteful furnishings, and a perfectly sized kitchen which has everything you could need. I recommend enthusiastically!

We felt very comfortable in this bright studio. Very clean, tasteful and practical (kitchen) furnished. Communication with the hosts was also uncomplicated and pleasant. Very happy to come back.

Our stay at Maria’s place was heavenly! So beautiful and inviting. The apartment was decorated beautifully and it was very comfortable. The views of the mountains were spectacular and the sound of the river was very enjoyable! Maria was so kind and attentive. I couldn’t think of a more perfect place to spend my 60th birthday! The walk to the train station was a beautiful walk. Such a charming town. We would love to return one day! Thank you Maria for everything!

It's about a 5-10 minute walk from Interlaken West Station, so the location is really great. The accommodation itself is so beautiful, and the river flows next to it, so the view from the terrace is really beautiful. The luggage storage service is a separate warehouse next to the accommodation, and there is no separate lock in the warehouse itself, so if you are anxious, we recommend bringing a lock or lock separately. We just left it there, but there was no problem. The interior of the accommodation was also neat and nice overall. However, we stayed for 3 nights, and I only gave one bath towel per person, one medium-sized towel, and one hand towel, so I asked if I could get more, but the courtyard was fluffy, and it was very fluffy.. haha (I gave plenty of towels for just two nights elsewhere) In the end, I received extra towels, but when I gave them towels, I suddenly just opened the door without a knock and came in. If you want to stay here for more than 2 nights, please bring plenty of towels ~! ~! ~! Other than that, I'm satisfied with everything else.

Highly recommended. Beautiful view of the lake and mountain panorama. Great central starting point for all kinds of activities in Switzerland. Very friendly and easily accessible host who responded quickly with solutions. Very nice and clean place to stay. We will be happy to come back.

Nice apartment, spacious living area, comfortable bed,nice balcony, kitchen quite small but fully equipped. Very peaceful area but only a few minutes walk to local supermarket, train station and the village pub! Thun is a short drive away or a couple of hours walk on the riverside path. The pub served typical pub meals, they were large and cheap. Annemarie and her daughter were both very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay.

Sarah's place was very cute and cosy. Spotlessly clean, with everything you could need. Also very close to the station if coming by train and only a short 5-7 min walk to the village for shops & restaurants.

This year, we visited Marcello & Sandra’s lovely home once again. As always, it’s a clean, charming, and stylish place. It’s also a peaceful, quiet, and calm Airbnb home. Marcello answered all our questions and was always helpful whenever we needed anything. He is a very attentive and warm host. We’re thinking of staying here again.

Private getaway on the shore of Lake Geneva outside Lausanne

A wonderful house with veranda and seating, located directly on the lake shore with a swing; all around trees, reeds, birds, view of the water, access to the lake. Everything is available in the kitchen and bathroom. Despite the rainy weather, I found the surroundings and the view of the lake extremely attractive, I felt very comfortable in the house and the surroundings. I'd love to come back!

Our stay at Janine‘s home was beyond anything we could have imagined. The setting is heavenly. We hardly wanted to leave the house. The surrounding area is absolutely amazing for hiking, which was the purpose of our trip. Janine greeted us when we arrived and spoke with us in perfect English, which was very helpful. Janine was helpful all throughout our stay giving us hiking recommendations as well as local eateries! The pictures on the website absolutely do not do the home justice. Every single person we met in the area was beyond kind and friendly.

Thank you for having us in your beautiful home. It's very comfortable, decorate with love and a lot of taste. All are very clean, and there's everything we needed for our week-long stay with a small family . Thank you for your warm welcome, for the fresh eggs from your chicken coop. This was the most unusual lodging I've ever been in on a road trip The house had everything I needed and more. My favorite spot is the upper terrace. I was lucky enough to spend a few evenings there, processing all the content for the day to the sound of birdsong. It's not easy to get here, but it's worth it. When you open the door of this house, it's like stepping into a fairy tale. Unforgettable experience, thank you!

We had a wonderful stay with Isabelle and Heinz in their beautiful house in the Emmental. We enjoyed the tranquility and the view. Bern (!) and Burgdorf (Franz-Gertsch-Museum) were very worthwhile. We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! Manuela was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kind—offering true 5-star hospitality from the moment we arrived. The house itself was spotless and beautifully arranged, with everything feeling fresh and new. All the amenities worked perfectly, especially the water heater and other heating equipment, which we appreciated even during our summer visit. During our stay, the weather was quite warm. While we chose not to open the windows to avoid flies, it would have been even more comfortable if a movable fan or a fly swatter could be provided in the future. That said, this is just a small suggestion, and it didn’t take away from the overall fantastic experience. Highly recommended, and would definitely stay again!
