The boathouse is located close to famous areas such as Trollstigen, Geiranger, Aalesund and Atlanterhavsvegen. In the immediate vicinity are the alpine facilities at Fjellsetra and Strandafjellet. Sunnmørsalpene is known for its fantastic hiking area in summer and winter.

Great cabin in Sunnmørsalpene. The cabin is located just a few hundred meters from the ski resort and short access to several kilometers of cross-country trails with lights for an evening trip. There are also many opportunities for top trips for all skill levels. There is also the possibility to rent a 16-foot leisure boat with 40hp. This is located in Sykkylven city centre (20 min drive from the cabin). Here there are life jackets and fishing equipment if you are interested. Rental must be pre-booked a good while before. Frisbeegolfbane og ballbinge like ved, sommeråpen gondol med kafé på Strandafjellet, og Geiranger, Trollstigen og Valldal innen en times kjøring. Kort sagt: en komfortabel base for aktive sommerdager, enten du vil bestige topper eller bare senke tempoet med utsikt over fjellene. Og kommer du om vinteren, går du rett ut på ski.

The cabin is situated right next to some of the most beautiful fjords in Norway. in the summer you can experience whales swimming by, different birds and other animals. in the winter you can wake up and drive 30 minutes and go skiing in the mountains. You can also se beautiful northern lights (aurora borealis) here.

Perfect base for hiking and fishing

The house is located at Riksheim, Sykkylven in beautiful surroundings with great hiking and fishing possibilities. Most of the house was renovated in fall 2015. A spacious veranda with views of the fjord was added. A boat and boat house available for guests. Public transport is scarce in the area, and we do not recomend staying without a car.
