Located inside the old city walls, it’s within 200m of the city’s main attractions including parks and museums, and only a few minutes’ walk from a host of excellent bars and restaurants. The area is noted for its historic 16th century doors and is on the Caminho de Santiago pilgrimage route. The castle is a ten minute walk. The train and coach stations are a 15 minute walk.

Panoramic View and Jacuzzi Palheiro is located in the village of Sobral Fernando and is a house dating back to 1936, all of which is built in schist stone. Recently restored, it offers a modern, welcoming environment while preserving the traces of times past. It has a Jacuzzi with water that can be heated on the panoramic balcony.
