Little Bear Log Cabin walking distance to Lake

Our Little Bear Cabin is perfectly located a very short walk to the beach, a lovely bike ride to Sugar Pines State Park, and 5 minutes to Homewood Ski Resort. There is strong WIFI and smart TVs in the living room and bedrooms. There is a gas fireplace in the living room, heaters in bedrooms, and a nice deck w/ a propane bbq. Our cabin is very small, yet very comfortable -- perfect for a couple with young children. It is NOT big enough to squeeze in 4 adults. No additional visitors are allowed.

Our 2BD/2BA welcoming home sleeps 5-7 people (3 or 4 adults + kids is optimal). The living room, dining nook & kitchen are an open floor plan, allowing for gatherings and making memories. The kitchen is stocked with essential cooking equipment. On the front deck we have a gas BBQ, deck chairs and an outdoor table. Sandy and I have opened upthe option to choose the Homewood Hideaway 2 bedroom flat as well...The description is the same as the 1 bedroom flat.. We except 1 small-medium size dog 50lbs and under, by interview only.. You will be charged $35 a day for the dog.. The dog will not be left unattended in the unit without being confined to a kennel.. Please don't let your dog on our furniture or beds...If you bring a dog without our knowledge you may be asked to leave.

Wonderful setting and home. Very central to all things in north shore/Tahoe City. We had an issue with water - the city struck a water main - and the host was very responsive in getting us info which was so appreciated. A relaxing week for sure.

Modern Lake Chalet | Walk to the Beach

The chalet was immaculate. It is so nice, after travelling 7 hours, to not have to clean a place first before unpacking. Also, the chalet had very thoughtful amenities: women's sanitary products, plenty of cleaning supplies, all of the needed (and then some) kitchen utensils, pots, pans, etc., nice appliances that work and are very clean, plenty of paper products (t.p. and paper towels) and comfortable furnishings. We highly recommend the chalet for a couple or a couple with 2 young children. The stairs from the garage are steep and narrow - a bit challenging carrying suitcases up (we recommend unloading vehicle from the driveway and using front deck stairs. Also, we loved the two decks and utilized both - following the sun from one side to the other. I do suggest a table on the decks would be nice for eating outdoors. Lastly, the very nice bikes Michael provided us (rental) were a wonderful touch. We enjoy riding the path along the lake. Thank you Michael & Shayla!

I run away to Lake Tahoe every year! This was the best home I've rented so far, cozy but roomy for rhe family to spread out. Plenty of activities and lovely yard to keep the kids busy while the adults could relax. Lovely home, all the comforts and amenities, comfortable beds and clean spaces. Thank you we can't wait for our next stay.

A cozy, grounding retreat. The cabin blends rustic charm with vintage character, clearly cared for with pride and a reverence for the history of the property and the surrounding land. Tucked just far enough from Tahoe City to offer peace and quiet, yet close enough to join the scene when desired, it felt like the perfect balance. The natural landscaping is unobtrusive and thoughtfully tended, and the cabin itself had everything I needed to feel at home during my brief stay. A lovely place to rest, reflect, and reconnect.

Staying in Patrick's home was perfect for myself and my group during our trip to Tahoe! The house was only a short drive away from the Palisades resort, and had an array of accommodations that made us feel very comfortable. The fireplace, ample bed options, full kitchen and living room made relaxing and enjoying our time off the mountain just as good as our time on it. The home was very private, and we loved the mountain views the second floor deck offered us. Patrick made check-in very flexible, and was incredibly responsive and kind during our stay, even providing us with some great dinner recommendations (shoutout shady side grill!). The home was clean and was everything we could've hoped for, we would definitely stay here again!
