Close to Curtis gateway we are perfectly nested in a beautiful country setting with pull in driveway with a large area for parking. Plenty of FREE firewood for the firepit for relaxing around a fire in the evening under the stars. Maple Leaf is centrally located 1 hour or less to U.P. attractions. South Manistique Lake which is 2 miles north of cottage. You can access the trails from the south of cottage 300 feet on a scenic trail in the woods about 2 miles turn left or right to find the trails.

The cabin is very close to The North Country Trail & The North Western State Biking & Snowmobiling Trail. Property includes full access to cabin, fire pit, charcoal grill and yard. Located in the heart of McMillan near the intersection of M-28 and County Rd 415. Just a few feet from some of the most accessible snowmobile/ORV trails located in the UP. Only minutes drive from restaurants/local grocery/gas/amenities.

Cozy lake cabin retreat in Kingston Plains

Enjoy this secluded cabin anytime of year. Located near trail 8 /H-58 for day trips in any direction. Cabin is set up with 2 Queens and accommodates 4 people comfortably. Two propane fireplaces & front room with beautiful view of private lake. Propane Weber for grilling , hot shower , stocked kitchen, washer and dryer. Fire pit for bonfire with wood for purchase on site. TV with HIGH SPEED INTERNET. Most likely will see and or hear a wild animal.

The Cabin

Our cabin is conveniently located directly across from the groomed snowmobile trail. Centrally located for easy access to Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, the Soo Locks, and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Midway between Lakes Superior and Michigan with many inland lakes. New flooring and a full size fold out couch were added in the beginning of 2025. We can now accommodate 5-6 guests.
