Family-friendly holiday rentals in Tai Po District

This beautiful home exceeded our expectations. Jean-Pierre and Dora are extremely proactive in making us feel welcome and were super helpful with whatever we needed. Their helper Charie is the warmest person you could ever ask for to greet you after a long journey. She is both available and discrete. The pictures on the listing do not do the house and the view justice. Highly recommended!

This apartment is gorgeous, and my fiancee and I had a fantastic time in Hong Kong. The apartment is very spacious for Hong Kong, and my fiancee and I had ample storage space during our 4 nights there. The apartment doesn't have much decoration, but the view of Kowloon and the harbor more than makes up: I'd wake up every morning and just stare out the window (and snap a couple pics). The building is super nice - doormen, marble floors, crystal chandeliers. The pool is a little tricky to get to (you have to swipe into the clubhouse - the first door to your right on the veranda) but is beautiful (just a note: signs will say the pool is closed even when it isn't; always check at the clubhouse just in case.) This is the nicest building I've ever stayed in, and the location is very convenient (about a 30-min walk from the harbor or history museum; right next to the Night & Jade markets, 15-min walk to subway and the bus to Stanley market or Aberdeen - plus a building shuttle to Kowloon station & the airport express). Eric was very easy to communicate with, and we had everything we needed during our stay. Highly recommended for a great experience!

Yu was a fantastic host. Very responsive and flexible with both check ins and check out. The place was spacious and in a central area that was easy to commute to and from. We had two small kids, strollers, and lots of luggage which made the 3 floors of stairs challenging.

Host is very responsive, friendly, and very accurate with the instructions. He is also kind. He even let us stay even after check-out time due to heavy rainfall. The place is easy to find and is in a very good location especially for transportation going to different tourist spot. Very great stay. 🥰❤

Great place to stay if you are looking for a long weekend getaway. Perfect location for hiking and the house is beautiful. Has all the amenities necessary (minus an oven) for the perfect weekend. I suggest bringing all your own groceries from home as the grocery shops are limited there. Highly recommend not getting there when it’s dark as it’s a little more difficult to navigate the village.

Although the building's facade and elevator may not be the most inviting, stepping into Ms. Helen’s apartment transforms the experience entirely. Her space is warm, homey, and impeccably clean, with all the essential amenities thoughtfully provided. What truly sets this stay apart, however, is the exceptional hospitality of Ms. Helen and her assistant. They are incredibly accommodating, responsive, and patient, ensuring every question is answered with care. Their kindness made all the difference, creating a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking a comfortable and memorable stay.

Rick is very responsive. He sent clear instructions on how to easily locate the place days before the actual stay. It has easy access to the MTR and bus stops so going to different places is hassle-free. The whole stay is very nice. It is worth recommending. Thanks, Rick!

Most of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, although one concierge working the evening shift seemed a bit moody. However, the apartment itself was clean, and the towels were changed daily, which I greatly appreciated. The staff were always ready to assist and responded promptly whenever I had questions. The location of the apartment is very convenient, situated close to bus stops and only about a 20-minute walk from the train station. It's even closer to the metro stations, approximately 10 to 12-minute walk. Additionally, taxis were available during the day, making it easy to hail one for transportation. Overall, the convenience of the location really stood out to me as a highlight of my stay.

we had a lovely stay. the owners are very responsive and helpful to us. the place is in great location just near jordan station ajd bus stops plus the Temple st. and other shops and local market is also very near. we are a family of 6 from philippines.

From the airport you can ride to the location with 1 bus only and walk a little.. Location has lots of local and fast food chains.. We loved the location bus stops and MTR station less than 3mins walk... frm the Kowloon hotel only 1 ride to the apartment and bus stops right infrint of the apartment.. Ms. Wing is helpful. We will stay here again when we get back to hongkong.. Also near to Mongkok ladies market

Zoe is very responsive and helpful. The place is in the heart of the city. It is so easy to find any stores you like such as pharmacy, grocery, restaurants, etc. They are just around the area with only few minutes walk. It is also close to the train and bus stations. The location is very convenient. Regarding the place, it is nice and clean. The kitchen has all the kitchen stuff we need. Also, the room has privacy and quiet. Unlike other airbnb’s located in downtown, this one is peaceful. We didn’t hear any noises from outside. Overall, great place and service.

Fantastic location right at the center of Mongkok. Close to everything you need, market, restaurants, MTR station, airport bus etc! The host Alice provided clear instructions for check in and details. Definitely highly recommended!!
