Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Talalla

Our stay at Hela Studio was lovely. We booked last minute as we wanted to extend our stay in Hiriketiya. Marta was a great host and was very helpful with local recommendations and check in process. Marta also helped to arrange a realisable car transfer which was a great price.

We spent a whole month in this house and were delighted! Spacious, cozy, with a lovely chill area by the river where you can relax and enjoy nature. I especially liked the rooftop – the perfect place to do yoga. The kitchen is fully equipped, so it was convenient to cook. The beds in the bedrooms are comfortable, slept great. The beach is only a 5-7 minute walk and the surf spot in Weligama is about 25 minutes away. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we are grateful to the hosts for their hospitality!

This is a lovely AirBnB, located close to the beach and nearby restaurants. The property is beautifully decorated and was nice and clean on arrival. Beds are comfortable with AC in one bedroom and fans in the other. One thing to note is that the neighbours have 2 dogs who can bark quite a lot when walking up to the house - not the fault of the property just worth being aware so they don’t come as a surprise! Rebecca is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Very cozy house in the middle of a forest. feels super quite and remote but Ahangama is right around the corner by Motobike. Couple of minutes drive to the next beach / surfing spot with some smaller shops close by. stayed for 2 weeks and has everything needed to cook or have a quite rest day at home. highly recommended!

Amazing house with incredible views and access to the beach. We loved our stay!

First of all, I would like to thank the service staff, they are very helpful and friendly. The villa and furniture are very beautiful and elegant, one of the most beautiful villas we have visited, but there are some comments. The price is very high compared to the area, and there is a very, very large problem with flies, and I think it is because of the adjacent land, which is full of dirt. Also, the curtains in the bedrooms do not block the sun well, and there is no air conditioning in the sitting area or in the kitchen.

5 min from the beach and up in the jungle, it’s the best place to stay if your looking for the calm. Breakfast and Yoga sessions were great. The staff very kind. I recommend 100%.

Our stay here was comfortable and pleasant. The host was so kind and generous. Harshani even went out of her way to prepare breakfast and lunch for us which was delicious and homely. We felt right at home at the stay. The stay is 4mins walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The host was very responsive and the stay looks just like in the pictures -clean. Highly recommend this stay!

Absolutely magical 3 weeks at Sudu Villa with our 5-month old son. Before check-in, Matt’s communication was excellent and was also reached out to by Charu, the Villa Manager, who both were happy to answer any questions we had. Check-in was smooth and we had the best time at Sudu Villa. Location is absolutely perfect, with easy walks to Pehebiya Beach and Hirikitiya. Charu was absolutely brilliant throughout our stay and couldn’t do enough for us, whether that’s organising surf lessons, tuktuks or airport transfers. Villa was immaculate with regular pool cleaning, we felt immediately relaxed from Day One. Will definitely be returning, a memorable few weeks.

Ruwan is a very dear person who goes out of her way to make sure you don't miss anything. The place looked exactly like the pictures. Everything was very clean. There was a fridge full of free water. Breakfast times were by arrangement, which we found very pleasant. Breakfast could have varied a bit more (there was the same thing every day). Ruwan organized transportation to the next accommodation at the Uber price. And the driver was also very nice. We took a trip to the turtles and Galle along with Ruwan, which I had honestly imagined a little differently. I thought he was like a tourist guide who also gives us information, but he just drove us. I found the price to be a bit too high for that. But it was still very nice and a good idea. We do not regret having spent 4 nights at Ruwan's and can recommend it with a clear conscience. I'd love to go there again.

We have stayed in around 180 Airbnbs and this is stand out one of the best! THE most fully equipped property we have ever come across, with all sorts of unexpected items such as mosquito repellent coils, filtered water, cooking oils and first aid kit! Eva and her manager, Tharush were amazingly friendly and accommodating. 5 star service and facilties to match! Can't recommend this place enough.

The place was easy to find, just a 20-minute walk from the beach. It’s spacious with a large balcony and close to the jungle, where we saw monkeys, parrots, chipmunks, peacocks, mongoose, and other wildlife. The area is quiet and far from busy spots, making it great for a peaceful stay. Our host, Sujeewa, was excellent—responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with, as he is an English teacher. He provided extra pillows and large water bottles (for a fee), ensuring a comfortable stay. He also helped with washing our clothes free of charge. There were a few extra fees, but they were reasonable. The internet was fast but limited to 10 GB/day; we paid extra to upgrade his plan to unlimited as we had to work during our stay. Using the AC also had a daily fee, as it’s not a standard amenity due to past misuse by guests leaving it on unnecessarily causing high electricity costs. Overall, the accommodation offers great value for its price, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Very nice stay with this lovely family! They are very loving and truely cared about me. They made some food and shared it. Everything what I needed was there. Would highly recommend as a homestay.

As soon as we arrived, Chanuka received us with sincerity. Their welcome drinks were amazing. The house was as beautiful as the pictures. We were impressed by the sincerity of their entire family. And the check-out day was truly amazing. They organized breakfast and lunch for us. We had a wonderful few days. Those who want to visit Galle can rest assured in this house. The accommodation is beautiful and right on the sea. If you don't want to eat in the restaurant in the building complex, you always need a taxi to the nearest restaurant. Special requests were always taken into account and fulfilled. Furthermore, we were helped a lot in organizing the transfer to the airport.

I highly recommend Sanjayas place, it is in a quiet and beautiful area with its own private entrance, walking distance to the local restaurants and beaches. The room was perfect with a great terrace, Sanjaya and his family are wonderful. I hope to be back again.

Great apartment, had all the basic necessities! The host and family were so incredibly helpful! Gave us a number for a great tuck tuck driver, warned us about the rambunctious monkeys that like to stop by, tried to keep us up to date on the power outages and more. It’s a lovely little jungle villa, with that being said, jungle = lots of bugs, there’s no way around it. Just don’t leave any open food out and that will help lessen the bug situation. Also, mirissa beach (great spot for restaurants and beach days) is a bit too far to walk, so I’d recommend getting a scooter or a bike and the host has a person for that too!! All around, would stay again if we come back to Sri Lanka! Host and family were so so so helpful and friendly!

Don was on hand to greet us with a very warm welcome. The accommodation was very clean, tidy and as described. The house contributed to a great holiday and I would highly recommend this place

navigator directs on the other hand, our taxi driver got lost at first. Having a car , the location is good. Appartements are large, all appliances work. Housekeeping once a week Host is always available
