Photos don’t do this place justice!! We had the most amazing stay at platypus cottage. The facilities were perfect, very clean and good amount of cooking/ dining equipment. The location was amazing right on the river with privacy and lots of spots to go for a swim. We would highly recommend platypus cottage and are all already talking about when we can come back! Kelli was a great host and the accommodation was as described. We were hoping for snow and lucked it with the weather, opening the blinds to snow was pure magic for us and our kids. The house and inclusions (bath bombs, clothes washing powder, games and toys and some champers for mum and dad) made it a great family friendly base and enjoyable stay. The drive up to Selwyn area was easy and there was plenty of snow around on the way for a play, without needing to purchase lift tickets (perfect for littlies wanting to have a play but aren't up to a full day). The drive into yarangobilly with the snow was also a beautiful sight. A great location to explore both places! Highly recommend ❄️

House double glazed, ducted air, very warm in first cold snap of winter. (snowed on the nearby mountains). Host Daniel, very responsive, almost instant and helpful. House near new and clean. Very well appointed kitchen - surpasses the average Airbnb. Close to Woden town centre with major shopping centre including Woolies, Coles, movies, restaurants, major department stores etc. Walkable to Bite to Eat and top notch IGA (with great coffee) Easy accessed by car to the rest of Canberra (just off major north south freeway) Highly recommend!!!

My family had the best stay. Honestly is the coziest place we have been - amazing surprise waking up to fresh snow in early June!! Would 100% love to book again!

We really enjoyed staying at Bridget’s house. The house is in a quiet and peaceful spot, only a quick trip down the hill to get everything we needed in town. The rooms were generously sized, giving plenty of space for the whole family - grandparents and kids included. The house was lovely and clean with thoughtful touches throughout. It was a great base for a relaxing family holiday. Would happily stay again!

If you're looking for a beautiful and remote stay, you've found it. Mary-Ann's cottage was everything we had hoped for and more. The cottage is perfectly located away from everyone and offers indoor and outdoor fires, and outdoor baths that really allow you to disconnect. The feel of the cottage is so welcoming that it helps like home. And, Mary-Ann was easy to communicate with which made the trip to the middle of no-where easy.

5 stars – Highly Recommend! I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout my visit. The space was exactly as described—clean, stylish, and very comfortable. It had everything I needed, from cozy bedding to a well-stocked kitchen. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, yet conveniently located near great restaurants, shops, and attractions. I truly felt at home and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a hassle-free and enjoyable stay

The house is very comfortable and well set out. We were a group of 7 and we were able to make meals in the kitchen and eat together in the large dining room. After dinner we all sat together in the spacious lounge room. The bedrooms are far enough away from the lounge room that someone could be watching tv without disturbing other people trying to sleep.

We absolutely loved our stay here and had a fantastic experience. The location was great with plenty of parking space. The place was comfy, clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Lesa is an amazing host. Very flexible and super responsive with her messages. We were made to feel very welcome and looking forward to our next stay. Would highly recommend!

Lovely spot with great views and very cozy. Bed was very comfortable and the kitchen has all the basics. Washing machine very handy.

The apartment in Barton was exceptionally well presented and was ideally located for visiting my sister in a nearby suburb. Felicity and Scott were very happy to accommodate my two small kids as well and had some toys to play with (very convenient when you can't pack the entire house on holidays!). They were also very quick with responses and gave thorough instructions for check-in, check-out etc. Also very willing to help if we got stuck (which we did not). Only issues we had were very minor e.g. No blankets left in the apartment. It was clarified that they were available upon request due to previous guest misuse - so be sure to reach out to them if you have anything you think should be there! Thanks for the lovely stay 🙂

Such a lovely stay. Apartment was as described, everything was perfect for our quick weekend getaway. Close to everything we needed, great shopping Mall, beautiful early morning walk around the stunning lake. The apartment was great to work from on Friday, comfortable and clean everything. Only 20 minutes by car to the city to meet friends. We loved it and will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Bruce, Canberra. The location was perfect — peaceful and quiet with lovely surroundings, yet still close to the CBD. It was especially convenient having the stadium nearby, as we were attending an event there. The apartment was comfortable and well-maintained, making it a relaxing place to return to each day. Monika, the host, was fantastic — very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Canberra!

Ideal location and close to everything I needed, parking under the building was safe and accessible, swimming pool and balcony ideal to relax while home. Block out blinds and quiet location despite close to a busy intersection. Good size Bathroom, bed and breakfast ideal for my needs. Able to enter and leave feeling safe and secure without taking the car. Any questions answered immediately and communication clear. I had a fantastic stay at Judy's. The communication was excellent. The property was clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed.
