The cottage has two double bedrooms, so is the perfect destination for two friends or two couples. We love dogs and are happy to accommodate up to two dogs, but they must stay downstairs. There are lots of local attractions in the area inc. Hadrians Wall, Birdoswald Roman Fort, Talkin Tarn and Brampton Golf Club. Storage for bikes/ golf clubs is available by prior arrangement.

It makes an excellent base to explore Hadrian's Wall, the North Lakes and the Eden Valley.. or a perfect stop off point on your way to or from Scotland.

We are lucky enough to have the Beautiful Talkin tarn just on our doorstep. The cottage was formerly the village postoffice, it has been fully renovated to high standard and is the perfect place to relax in front of the log burner after a day exploring the local area.
