There’s a brewery and several unique restaurants just a few blocks away in the downtown with fun shopping close by. Casinos and the National Military Park are just a short drive. Eagle Lake and nearby Lake Chotard and Albemarle Lake offer year round fishing opportunities in addition to the 100k+ acres of public hunting land all located within a 45 min drive. Some of these include Phil Bryant WMA, Sunflower WMA (Delta National Forest), Mahannah WMA, and Twin Oaks WMA.

Beautiful waterfront lake home located on Poverty Point Reservoir. Our home is located near Poverty Point State Park, Black Bear Golf Course, and Poverty Point World Heritage Site. Poverty Point Marina is located 1/2 mile north of the house. Wild Country Safari is located just a few miles north of the house and is a fun experience to enjoy with your kids. We have two docks for fishing and swimming. Relax and enjoy the sun rises and sunsets on beautiful Poverty Point Reservoir.
