[Aozora] Quiet, private rental on a hill / 12-minute walk to the Naoshima Ferry / Uno Port

We aim to provide accommodations where travelers visiting Japan from overseas can stay with peace of mind. This is an entire house that retains the warmth of old-fashioned wood, and is arranged in a space where you can relax. We have spent two years in an old private house on a hill overlooking the Seto Inland Sea, we have renovated it with our own hands and operate it with a couple. The facilities are simple, and there is no service like a hotel or inn, but it is popular for those who want to relax in nature. It can accommodate up to 6 people and is recommended for groups and families. About 18 minutes on foot from Uno Station and 12 minutes on foot to the ferry terminal, it is the ideal base for an art trip to Naoshima and Setouchi. It is a 10-minute walk to the Mercadé shopping mall and a 2-minute walk to the FamilyMart Tamano Uno store. There is a contracted parking lot for one car 2 minutes on foot from the base of the mountain. Our inn is only on foot from the base of the mountain, and is located on a high ground about 60 meters up. The path climbs a bit steeply, but when you arrive, you'll feel a refreshing sense of accomplishment and be able to enjoy a quiet time surrounded by nature.

I've updated the photos of the room. The bunk bed in the Western-style room has been removed and replaced with two single beds. The maximum number of guests has been changed to 6. If you already have a reservation for 7 or more people, you can stay with the same number of people without any changes. Naoshima has become a tourist destination not only for Japan but also for the whole world. What changes, what doesn't. Each blends naturally, and the air flows in a way that can only be experienced in Naoshima. You'll feel it even more by staying on Naoshima. Sakura-so opened in the summer of 2014. It is a guest house with a nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere. 5-minute walk from the center of Naoshima's Miyanoura. It is located in a very quiet place. There is a Japanese-style room with futons (up to 4 people) and a Western-style room with 2 single beds (2 people). You are renting the entire property. Asaborake: 5-minute drive from Uno Station, up to 7 people, rent an entire old house

You can rent a small old house and a large Japanese garden, limited to one group per day. Spend your days like a local at this place, which is close to the Seto Inland Sea. We have 2 electric bicycles and 5 bicycles available. They are available for free to guests. You can also take your bike on the ferry to Naoshima and Teshima. Insects may enter the house depending on the season, as the garden is close to the old house. We are taking measures, but please refrain from booking if you are not good with insects. When you come by car, we ask you to check in by yourself. When you come by train or bus, we can pick you up and drop you off at Uno Station. There is another traditional house nearby. Stay like a local at Nagi unoport, one group per day

This room is on the second floor of a two-story building. There is an entrance and shower room on the ground floor, and there is a separate entrance and a restaurant. We've carefully designed the fixtures and layout so that you can enjoy this facility at your leisure, as well as use it as a place to stay while traveling. In the dining room with an island kitchen, you can enjoy music with high-quality speakers. Enjoy the scent and feel of the rare pine flooring. For the bedroom area, we have thick futons instead of beds, also with small children in mind. In addition, the futon area is slightly elevated with tatami mats. One of the closest accommodations to Uno Station, it also has excellent access to outlying islands such as Naoshima. Convenience stores and popular restaurants are also close. English available.

Haus2354 is within 5 minutes walking distance from Ieura Port, the main gateway of the island. It is also very close to Teshima Yokoo House and is in the area where you can find small shops and eating places. Haus2354 is a Japanese style house with Japanese style floor bedding, and we rent out a whole house during your stay. There are direct boats from Teshima to Shodoshima, Naoshima and Inujima. This place could be your base for island hopping considering its good access to the port.
