Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Tangipahoa Parish

We stayed here for my daughter’s wedding and it worked great! The kitchen was well supplied and open to living room so it worked perfect for our family. The yard was great for the kids to run around in. The beds were comfortable, especially the master and the showers had sting water pressure. All of my family mentioned how great the showers were!!😂. Definitely recommend this place and will stay there again as my daughter lives in Hammond!!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. We came down for a family wedding, and the house was perfect—beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable. The instructions provided were clear, well-placed throughout the home, and made everything easy to navigate. Katie was super responsive and helpful, even though we didn’t end up needing much assistance. Everything was smooth from start to finish. We’d gladly stay here again!

This was quite possibly the best experience we have had in an Airbnb! The house was spacious and comfortably slept our large group (14 guests). Also, it was incredibly well stocked…extra paper towels, toilet paper, kitchen essentials, extra bedding, etc. It is so nice when you do not have to purchase basics like coffee filters, cooking spray, laundry detergent, hand soap, etc. for a short stay. The host had everything we needed and more. There was also plenty of seating for both dining and lounging! The hosts were very accommodating and quick to respond when we reached out with questions. Cute local shops and restaurants within a short drive. I would highly recommend this listing!

We love booking Ms. Susie’s place. Being there so close to our family, feels like a home away from home. The artwork that she has done is displayed throughout the home and it truly adds that extra something special to the cozy vibe. Booking a stay at the Core Homestead will not disappoint!! Our family will most definitely book there for our return visits to see family.

This little green house is small but so cozy and perfect for a weekend get away. It is set on a beautiful piece of property that is private, yet not isolated. We very much enjoyed both the amenities of the house itself as well as fishing in the pond, thanks to the very well equipped fishing supplies on site. The kitchen is perfect for cooking a small meal, the bedroom is cozy and comfortable, and the decor is very cute. We cannot wait to stay here again!

This is a beautiful lodge. I wish we were not there for an evernt because we didn't really get to enjoy all of the amenities. Definitely want to return. Everything is clean and they thought of everything. Comfortable bed, plenty towels and great decor. The spiral staircase is a little difficult to navigate and should be in the pictures for people to know they have to climb it, especially because young children, the elderly or injured would have a considerably difficult time navigating it. Need lightbulbs in the lamps! Please consider an 11:00 checkout. Otherwise, absolutely loved the concept and will return! Thank you.

we had such a great time!! the kiddos enjoyed all the water activities and the band was excellent! perfect weather and an amazing place!

We spent a month at Catie's cabin on the river and couldn't have been more pleased. The cabin is rustic and comfortable, not unlike something you would have been happy to find a generation ago, but absolutely modern with great wifi and cable TV. Lots of dishes, pots and pans, everything (and I mean everything) you might want. Very quiet on a dead-end road meaning there was no vehicle traffic. Just the occasional boat drifting by. Catie responded immediately if we had a question. This property is a real find and a bargain. We were delighted to find it.

We had such an awesome weekend here. Everyone was so nice and so many activities. Something for everyone and got us all off our devices and playing like we were little kids again. Not overcrowded for a spring break weekend either. We will def be back!

thanks a ton for accommodating our group at the last minute. pour place was just what we needed. clean, cheaper than multiple rooms and close to the strawberry festival. hope to visit again

Our stay was wonderful! Amanda was super responsive the whole time and very accommodating! Plus the cabin is so cute and peaceful set against the creek! We had a great time ☺️
