I had a smooth time in Zanzibar. This was my first time ever booking on Airbnb and I indeed loved the stay. Ginie, who was the host around was very friendly and assisted a lot during my stay. It is a walking distance from the Ferry and safe to walk balk home from the main road even after a night out. Loved every detail of it and look forward to staying there again after Ramadhan when I visit Zanzibar.

Location: It’s at the other end of the “famous” Nungwi walk, having said that it’s also perfectly close to the beach and less crowded. The hotel itself is beautiful well equipped beautiful pool and THE BATHROOM is gorgeous. The breakfast is fantastic and sooo delicious and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Thank you for hosting us.

Had a great stay. The rooms are really clean and cool. Great food in the restaurant and really nice staff. The tour operator Toby organized a fantastic dolphin watching and snorkeling trips!

This place is magical! Amazing view, peaceful spirit, if you are looking for tranquility and authenticity far from tourist, this is for you ! Ask Nas if you wanna see a beautiful full moon. He is a very nice and helpful. I recommend 💯. See you soon

Highly recommend this place. Rooms are very nice and clean. Breakfast is good and the staff is the best especially Sophia makes everything for the guests. And I love to have a pool.

A dream resort for backpackers.

This is a lovely and peaceful place on the beautiful beach of Matemwe. Jamal and the staff were all very friendly, attentive and accommodating. The hotel has a generator which is indispensable because there are daily power outages in Zanzibar. The A/C in the room was great also. The only difficulty I had was with the WiFi which worked only at the restaurant. I would love to return again!

Fleur De Lis Villa was wonderful. The hotel was beautiful, the staff was friendly, and the food was great. The only downside is there is no beach to swim at - you need to travel about 15 minutes away to get to one. That said, there are two lovely small pools and the grounds are small but very nice. The room was exactly what we needed and they went out of their way to make sure our two year old was comfortable as well. I would recommend anyone stay here who wants an out of the way spot to spend a relaxing few days.

My wife and I had an absolutely amazing time at Gaia for our honeymoon. We were welcomed by her incredible staff and they even set up beautiful swan towels and roses on the bed for us. The villa was beautiful and very private. And I can’t stress enough how amazing all of the staff were. Breakfast was delicious as well and the host was so responsive to us with recommendations. We stayed at a much larger (and more expensive) resort in Zanzibar before this and we thought Gaia was so much more enjoyable. Very close to the beach as well. Highly recommend!

Small and pleasant space with smiling staff who are helpful.

A dream of a house! Meg was always available and described everything exactly. The pool is an absolute dream and the house is very good taste. There was nothing missing and the staff helped with everything. I'd love to come back.

Great place looked just like the photos, we had great view of the pool area. The on sight restaurant was pretty good. Definitely the place to stay if you desire to be near Stone Town. You will enjoy it, and I am a traveler.

if you are looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bussel of Arusha, want it to feel like you're not in the middle of town with beautiful scenery and nature around you, but still be close to the city centre - this is the place for you. the pool, accomodation, food and staff were all great and made my stay a very relaxing and enjoyable one. For those worried about the road after reading the reviews, don't worry, you don't need a 4x4 - arusha suburbs off the main roads are usually dirt roads and can be wild for people who have not lived in a city like Arusha - I promise you it won't stop your transport from getting to or from this place. Further the staff here would never leave you stranded. You can ask them for anything, including arranging transport, and they are happy to help.

Right on the beach with a pool warmer than most showers. Close enough to all other restaurants and points of interest. The don’t serve alcohol which is fairly common in the area, but you only have to walk 100m to find a cold one. Breakfast is typical African/Indian breakfast. Don’t expect an English style.

Excellent stay at Elena's, everything is perfect. The hotel is very well located, close to the beach and all amenities. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, and the staff is very kind and responsive. Thank you, Elena, for this excellent stay, we will be back ☺️

Ideal location to avoid mass tourism. The hotel setting is perfect! The room is very clean, access to the beach is direct. The staff is really great, they do everything to make the stay go smoothly, we recommend for people who want to rest in a quiet place under the palm trees. NOTE, it is difficult to swim in this place ( tide, sea urchins...)

outstanding, we had the unit with a private pool. totally as described. large bedroom. the food was the star here, unique flavours, generous portions, and vast choice, all cooked to order and fresh, The best meals we had on Zanzibar served on the roof terrace. we had a hire care but can be done by taxi etc. Kendwa is a great resort, ten minute walk from downhill from peanut to the beach front, taxi back about £3. Made was a perfect host and a very talented lady, art studio on site..

Quiet compound located just off a main road. Close enough drive to city center and beach areas. The rooms were perfectly cleaned and check in was easy. Very secure and the guard was kind enough to wash our car very thoroughly. Garden is spacious, good for kids to play and burn off some energy. Breakfast was tasty. Would stay again if in Tanga.

This is a wonderful facility with great and friendly service. It is right on the beach and the pools are beautiful and well maintained. The chef was great and we ate almost all our meals there. It is a little out of the way to the north of Bwejuu.

I loved my stay at the facility. The place looks like you see in the photos. They have a huge and wonderful pool which was actually warm at night and it's next to the beach. The rooms were spotless and spacious. Highly recommended!

Loved this place. It’s not down town, for you guys wondering about that, but the Masaki area is amazing if you want to chill and have it a little bit more quiet around you. And don’t get me wrong, you don’t have to be bored: the best night clubs are just around the corner. And Coco Beach. Not the most beautiful beach in Dar, but lively and friendly. If you book a room with Velisa you get the best vegetarian food in town, air condition, safety and the sweetest people. I highly recommend it. ❤️
