We loved loved loved our stay at Wakushi house. Rebecca and Amani were so helpful and sweet people to be around and their place is just amazing. It is simply beautiful and very airy which is important on such a hot island. But it was the little details that stood out- fresh flowers, self-colored towels and handmade soap (which you can also purchase as a souvenir). Rebecca was also super helpful to arrange some trips and even took me to her yoga class. This might have been my best Airbnb-find ever!

We had a fantastic stay and felt right at home. The beds were super comfortable and the projector a big highlight for the kids. The staff was super friendly, and the host too. I highly recommend this place and hope it will be available next time I return to Arusha!

2 weeks in this house was really peaceful and nice. The general manager Mudy and also Anna were very proactive. The house is situated in a very quiet environment and we could walk 15 minutes to Kendwa beach. Otherwise we took moto taxis. I really recommand this place

Absolutely loved our stay here, the home was exactly like the photos if not better, we were welcomed with them most helpful, hands on, amazing staff. The location as well was perfect right on the beach and close to everywhere in Jambiani, would recommend this place if you are planning to come to Zanzibar !!

Angela’s place is in a peaceful and quiet area. Her and her team will make sure that you are well acquainted with the property and were very kind to place a breakfast starter pack and fruit basket on our arrival. The place is worth your money. Highly recommend it💫

Hey! Amazing stay. Joseph is incredible - give this man a raise or a promotion. Beautiful location. Was a little toasty at times with there not being any aircon but for those with a bare minimum determination to survive, the fans work pretty good. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a well priced, central location to relax in and explore Paje from. Wish we made more use of the top level!

Fukuchani Inn is wonderful - the staff is pleasant, kind, and very willing to help with whatever you might need. Everyone was friendly and we had a wonderful stay. The Inn is right near the ocean, a quick little walk to a beautiful (albeit rocky) beach, and it's very close (about 15 mins) from Nungwi beach. And the pool is lovely! We stayed in the 2-bedroom Villa and it was perfect for my family, plenty of space and very clean. And of course I have to mention Daisy, the basset hound!! Such a friendly and good girl :) We would love to come back one day - overall, great stay :) Friendly reminder to travelers, Tanzania and Zanzibar often have power outages, and this includes A/C - but they only lasted a few mins each time, and the staff aims to provide as comfortable a stay as possible.

Stayed 9 nights with my husband (June 2025). Great communication. Got collected at the airport by Suileman (sorry if spelling is wrong!)..we had a hire car so husband followed us behind..would be very hard to find otherwise. We were greeted by Said and Josephine with fresh coconuts... the house is just like the photos. Absolutely stunning. Beautiful gardens and clean pool with incredible views. Incredibly clean..bedrooms were gorgeous as was the bathrooms. Everything you may need was included. Staff were so helpful. Said took my husband out to show us where to buy bread. There are 2 local supermarkets...very expensive and mostly sold UK products! Air-conditioning upstairs but not down..I was incredibly hot. There are fans but still humid and hot. All in all..a fantastic holiday. The beach by villa isn't the best..very rocky..but beautiful views from patio area. Watch out for bugs and lizards.. but that's Africa! A truly memorable holiday. We will return one day. Easy 5 stars.

Been to more than one of Doreen’s accommodation. She is truly the definition of a good host. Her communication timing is impeccable and always checking up on her tenants for any problem or suggestion to make the stay comfortable. I definitely look forward to being hosted again

Absolutely stunning house in paradise! The garden, the colors of the sea, the house itself - everything is gorgeous. But the staff are the real prize. Asia, chef, and Peter took such good care of us. Fabulous meals, spotless housekeeping, good security. We arrived tired and cranky and left rested and refreshed - we were so sad to leave! We would not hesitate to book again and again.

I stayed at Marvelous with my family. It was great place for the vacation. The host was really friendly, responsive and helpful. Especially every food we ate was amazing. I loved the natural and comfortable atmosphere. I highly recommend Marvelous.

We are a family of 5 and spent a week here and loved it! It worked perfectly for our family (teenage) with the three bedrooms, and general space - It is an oasis in the shade and just a short walk to the beach. We spent a lot of time at New Teddies too to use the pool and loungers etc, which is gorgeous and really close. Alida was so helpful and friendly and always at there for messaging. We did tours with Iddi (driver) who also collected us from Stone Town. He was really helpful, on time, and really reasonably priced. I would say book with him rather than on the beach! It wouldn’t be for everyone though - you should be aware it is set back in a very basic Zanzibar village. It is HOT! Mostly the house feels really cool and is wonderful to get back to, though the bedrooms are hot at night. There are fans but unfortunately Zanzibar is having an electricity crisis at the moment and there are several power cuts each day. This was probably worse than normal as it was peak season.

We had a wonderful stay at Maria’s place in Dar Es Salaam! The apartment was cozy, clean, and had a very homey feel. It was easy to find, and both the check-in and check-out processes were seamless. Maria was an exceptional host—always responsive and regularly checked in to ensure everything was to our liking. She even surprised us with a complimentary breakfast package, which was a lovely touch. Having a caretaker on standby for any additional needs was also incredibly convenient. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality

This place is outstanding for a unique setting with lots of privacy in nature. As would be expected for such a remote setting, accessibility can be challenging. You need to follow numerous turns on unmarked small, paths. Using their provided guide from the ferry or airstrip is advisable. It is truly off road for a few kms, tight for a car and slippery and messy in rainy season for a motorcycle. If you can work with the accessibility challenge, we highly recommend the place.

We had a great time in Charlotte’s place. The house is located in the middle of the nature with beautiful garden and views from the rooftop. The nearby beaches are breathtaking. Charlotte was a great host and provided lots of useful tips and advice.

Lovely home—clean, cozy, and well-equipped. Great location and very comfortable stay. The host was kind and responsive. Only thing I would recommend is a sign because it was pretty hard for the taxi to find us. I’m already planning on coming back next year with my family hopefully this house is available!

For 2 days we felt like in a dream :)) The huge and very well kept garden around Villa Makuti is amazing. We loved the many different spots to sit or lay down and enjoy the beautiful views... To order a private cook was very comfortable and Omar was a very nice and good driver. Thanx for this wonderful experience!!!
