A quaint traditional period home set at the edge of a 100 acre farm. Although it is one of 3 homes on the property it still very much retains its unique quiet country feel. You’ll love the cottage because of its outdoor views down the valley, neighboring farmlets & dairy farms. It has extensive outdoor space being adjacent to the local forest park. My place is good for couples, small families. Being a hobby farm there is stock on the property which can be easily viewed from the cottage.

Very peaceful. ☺️we meant to do outing on second day but we cancelled and stayed at home to enjoy nature and peace. Thank you very much for such good place . The place is very relaxing and peaceful. The journey there was quite a long one coming from Auckland on a raining day does not help. The house is very clean and spotless which is comforting. Even though there is no mobile coverage, there is a very good WiFi for me to beam projector to the wall for movies. It was a great experience overall.

Stunning, camp grounds, loved our little cottage, had everything we required for a couple of days. We were impressed with the facilities, clearly marked walking trails, with farm activities on offer for those that wanted to. Stunning countryside and river, very quiet and peaceful. We had a self catering cottage ( nearest shop is 40 mins away). They offer pizza nights and coffee on weekends so check with your hosts. We would definitely recommend this place. Highly recommended! The Lake house is a home away from home. Extremely clean with modern facilities. The fire place heats up the house and keeps the house warm and cosy. The views from the house are spectacular and the area is extremely peaceful. I will absolutely book again. Thank you Ted & Edward for your hospitality, truly appreciate it.
