The apartment was exactly like the pictures. The terraces were lovely and very big. The communication with Samuel and Sonja was excellent and very friendly. Especially Sonja was a hero, she made sure to catch up with us every day and gave good tips. Walking distance to bakery, supermarkets and alguer/taxi square. We recommend staying here for a few days.

We had a very nice time in Tarrafal. Sandra's spacious and very nicely furnished apartment also contributed to this. We felt at home. The mattresses are just right and the shower huge and modern. The living room with the kitchenette is spacious and tastefully furnished. It's about 10 minutes to the beach. Next to the apartment there is a small supermarket and you can also eat at the meeting point Bar Belini. Sandra was lovingly attentive to our questions and requests. We will be happy to return to this place.

Nivaldo is a very responsive, pleasant and caring host. He made himself available throughout the stay and offered us extra sheets on the coolest nights. The apartment is very well located, 10 min from the beach. All rooms are very clean with all the necessary amenities. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. I would highly recommend it.

We had a very pleasant time in Tarrafal. Mauricia is a very friendly host who is flexibly ready to respond to requests. We enjoyed the daily breakfast by the sea. We will be very happy to come back, thank you so much!

We had an exceptional stay at Hilario's The apartment was as described, clean and spacious. Hilario and his wife are wonderful hosts, always available to answer our questions. For an additional service Hilario introduced us to the charming town of Calheta and also took us to visit "Les Rabelados" in Espinho Branco. We enjoyed the bar/restaurant located in the residence. The atmosphere was very family and friendly. We'd recommend this place 100%.

Thierry was very responsive, we had a lock issue and it was resolved quickly. Conveniently located a few minutes from the beach and local market. Great stay. 🥰

Spacious and very comfortable apartment, my daughters loved the space and the diversity of the colors of the rooms. The apartment was extremely clean and had cleaning materials, if we wanted to use them. You can easily access the sea, Tarrafal and Ponta de Atum beaches, about 15 and 7 minutes on foot, respectively. The restaurants and the center are located a few minutes' walk away. The apartment has no air conditioning, but during the stay we felt great thermal comfort. We highly recommend the Four Elements Home apartment and we thank you for hosting us. See you next time!

Our stay had some great aspects, but also a few challenges. The hosts were kind enough to let us into the house before check-in time, which we appreciated. However, the house wasn’t cleaned upon arrival, and while we were told it would be done before 3 PM, it wasn’t. The location was a bit tricky to find at first, and the WiFi signal didn’t quite reach the bedroom. Also, the bed had no fitted sheet, and the top sheet kept slipping off, which made sleeping less comfortable. That said, the house itself was nice, and with a few improvements in cleanliness and amenities, it would be a great place to stay. Thanks to the hosts for their hospitality!
