Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Tarrazu

This was our first trip to Costa Rica and we didn't know what to expect. It's hard to get a full scope of a place with just photographs. From the moment we walked in the door, I knew we picked the right place. Someone else mentioned that the photos don't do this place justice, and they were spot on. It's airy yet cozy, tranquil but enough space to spread out and have a good time. The location was far enough away from Quepos to give it a country feel but still be able to quickly pick something up for dinner. My only criticism is that the kitchen was not as equipped as I like (we had to get creative with the can opener and the knives were pretty dull) but we managed. I highly recommend Villa Vanilla- it's a biodynamic organic farm 10 minutes away if you are interested in spices or chocolate, they also have ice cream and spice tours. The Magic Bus was our favorite food spot near Manuel Antonio. Rancho Tipico don Juan horseback riding tour was THE Highlight of our trip.

No complaints at all about this place! It was a hidden gem and well worth the price. The location was good for us - quiet, in a smaller neighborhood, a very peaceful retreat. It was off the beaten path, so would not be for people who want to see or hear the ocean. However, it was SUPER clean, the beds were comfy, A/C worked great, the parking was easy and secure. The gardens were immaculate and offered a jungle feel which we all loved. It is a 3-minute drive from MaxiPali for groceries, etc. and a few more minutes to Quepos.

Cozy house and has an open plan, so its very open (which i loved) A lot of closet space available in 2 of the rooms. lovely backyard. Has an outside grill which was very nice. Ample bathroom with hot water. The host was very friendly and made our stay amazing. Ample parking. Right next to a lil family fast food joint with a lot of options as well as a little market. Keep in mind, this is on a main road, so there is some noise early morning, but it's manageable. Would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed at Doug's house for one night, 4 families, with 4 children. The area is one of the most beautiful in Costa Rica. It has a spectacular view and if you like the cold weather, it is the ideal place for a vacation outside the city but quite close. The cabin is super cozy, equipped with everything we needed for the needs of all families, Doug was super attentive from the first moment. We had a really good time - we would recommend it and will definitely return. We loved it!

Claudia’s house was a perfect little place to stay for 6 weeks. Large fenced in yard for the dogs to play and a Coconut and lime tree in the yard. The market was 75 meters away which was very nice. Everyone in the neighborhood was super friendly and helpful. One of my favorites things was the 4-6 Macaws that came by daily across the street. And the Sunday futbol matches in town.

A very nice place, comfortable view and excellent service

My friends and I visited Karla's house, from the moment of booking Karla was extremely attentive. She helped us with the concerns we had, the kitchen is beautiful and has everything you need at home. The area is very quiet and there are supermarkets nearby. The house has a lot of space and the beds are comfortable ideal for large groups, there are board games, ranch, grill, everything you need I recommend it 100% and it is definitely a place I would return to.

I really liked the place, just as it appears in the photos, equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, super clean bathroom, quiet and safe neighborhood, you can walk without fear , central place, perfect TV size, the only thing I was worried about was the issue of parking but Alex indicated that there was no problem leaving it outside, so it was, we spent 3 nights without a problem. Appreciate.

We had a very nice stay. The house and especially the garden offered us a lot of space to relax after our day activities. There were a lot of animals near the house too. We saw Tucanes, Monkeys, different insects and a lot of birds.

We felt completely at home at Carmen's accommodation. The small house is located on a large property, with plenty of space to the other houses, so you have complete privacy. The view from the terrace is unbeatable – you can see mountains, and a cow pasture runs directly around the terrace (and if you're lucky, the cows might even graze right next to the house). We also saw many toucans and parrots. Communication with Carmen was flawless. If we travel to Costa Rica again, we would definitely stay at this accommodation again.

Perfect location between Emilio's Cafe and Hotel Mariposa. We walked to every fantastic meal we enjoyed. Loved the pool and the monkeys. Host's assistant Hector was very helpful and responsive. Thank you!!

What a great place and better host! Marcos apartment is about a 7 minute walk to the beach, restaurants, and grocery stores and an easy 15 min drive to the national park. Marco and his family had plenty of tips and recommendations for our stay. We’d be happy to stay again if we find ourselves back in Quepos!

Hello, I did not meet Eddie in person but it is clear that he is a very kind, attentive person, always answering messages, clarifying any doubts, and he allowed me to leave a little later. He lent me his Netflix account, which I am very grateful for because it helped me a lot. As for the place, it is a very nice place, beautiful, full of vegetation, lush, it is a gated condominium with other apartments all very well maintained. There were little monkeys. As for the apartment, it's small but very comfortable for one person, it's very comfortable, it has everything you need Nice. In a common area, there is a washer and dryer that is very helpful. The bus stop that can go to Quepos and to another sector of Manuel Antonio is a few meters away. I highly recommend the condo.

Warren was very accommodating and his place was comfortable.. place has describe. very zl, I love that there was a tv in each room.. The bathrooms just need a little more TLC but I understand that is a little older building. Good stay.

This was a wonderful place to stay in Manuel Antonio. It is so beautiful and the pool is nice to come back to. I highly recommend booking as the hosts are very accommodating and attentive. Truly a beautiful place!
