Cottage in Ueda

Limited to one group per day, Ishikumi-no-Ie is a thatched-roof and stone cottage surrounded by a garden that is beautiful in every season

The Stone House is located in a mountain village at the foot of Utsukushigahara, in Nagano Prefecture. It is a genuine stone building made of natural stone and a thatched roof, which is rare in Japan, and it took 12 years to complete the cottage. The stones that came from the site during construction were processed one by one and piled up by the owners themselves, creating a space with a exotic feel with the natural expressions of the stones. The surrounding area is a mountain village with private homes, but the large grounds are surrounded by trees, and in the garden where you can feel the nature of the seasons, birds chirp and the wind blows through the mountains. You may forget about time and place in another world that you reach by climbing a hill. There is also a main house made of stone and a small round thatched hut on the premises, where we grow vegetables and herbs without pesticides. Ishigami-no-Ie is a private rental accommodation limited to one group per day. Enjoy a calm and relaxing time in an extraordinary space that feels like you've stepped into the world of a book, away from everyday life. ●Maximum capacity: 3 people, but it can accommodate up to 4 people for families. Please contact us as the system cannot correctly display the price for 1 or 4 people. ●There is a very good value for money [Consecutive nights discount: from 2 nights to 5 nights] where you can spend a relaxing day. Please contact us about this as well.

Forests, architecture, and art Yatsugatake Minami Fumoto Blackbird Stopover

Peaceful days with a private forest. Enjoy the sound of birds, the sound of the wind, and the flickering of light in the forest from a comfortable distance. Located at the southern foot of Mt. Yatsugatake at an altitude of 1150 m, it is a place where people who seek the nature and climate of the highlands live, rather than a tourist destination. Spring brings new greenery and buds, cool summers, colorful autumn leaves, and the warmth of a wood stove. There are also plenty of seasonal activities, such as skiing, hiking, river play, hot springs, and Hokuto City, which is surrounded by famous peaks, has many viewpoints where you can enjoy views of Mt. Yatsugatake, the Southern Alps, and Mt. Fuji. There is also an abundance of spring water. Please try to find them. The building was designed and constructed by the Tokei team, and the team operates it as an inn for many people to use. The distinctive architecture is a redesign of an old townhouse using modern construction methods and traditional materials. Inside, you'll find artwork such as murals and stone carvings of black birds, as well as books and photo collections selected by the host, which you can take your time to enjoy during your stay. * The capacity is 4 people, but if it is only adults, the number of people who can stay comfortably is up to 3 people. * The price shown is for up to 2 people, and 10,000 yen will be added to the accommodation fee for each additional person.

A little luxurious country house that makes Nagano "everyday" - Saku no Sato Miyanosato

It is a house that was restored using the beams of the house with thatched roofs in 1993.Why don't you spend a relaxing time in the living room of the plaster wall and the Japanese-style room of 8 tatami mats and 10 tatami mats as if you went home to the countryside with your family and friends? Looking up at Mt. Asama, the wide sky is filled with tumblers, the Ushida Space Observatory is nearby, and the air is beautiful. Starting with "Fuse Onsen" and "Kasuga Onsen", there are several hot springs if you use a car. You can also go to Karuizawa, Mt. Nobe and Kiyosato in a small hour by car, so you can climb to Mt. Yatsugatake and trek to Saku Kogen National Quasi-Park. It is a rice spot comparable to Niigata, local sake made with a thousand songs of water poured from Mt. Yatsugatake and Mt. Asama. There are "Pinkojizo", "Sueno Castle Toes" and "Nakajima Park" on the walking course. There is also a large supermarket "Tsuruya" in 15 minutes on foot, and a roadside station "Healthy Terrace Sakunami" in front of the Saku Minami IC, so you can enjoy local ingredients using home cooking utensils and seasonings. We believe that it can also be used as a place for people who are thinking about immigration and other living experiences. The price is set for 2 people, so the nightly rate is for 2 people, and after 3 people, the price will be ¥5000 per person.

Home in Azumino

Sanchi, a private rental inn with a panoramic view of the Northern Alps

Enjoy the only scenery here. Located northeast of Azumino, the former Akihina-machi overlooks the Northern Alps. Akishina is a land where the Saira River, Takase River, and Hodaka River merge, and is blessed with abundant spring water. Here you'll find the beautiful scenery and tranquility you want to leave behind We have renovated such an old Meishina building, revived the retro modern space, and made a rental accommodation in a whole house. I wanted you to relax in the Azumino air and spend a lot of luxurious time. It is a 5-minute walk from Meishina Station from our facility, and 2 stops to Matsumoto Station on the Shinnoi Line. It is easy to go towards Nagano. Mt. Nagamine, abandoned lines, Daio wasabi, swaths, etc. are close by. Please enjoy Azumino sightseeing There is a "Maekawa" flowing right in front of you, such as canoeing, rafting, sap, etc. There is a "Longmenbuchi Canoe Stadium" and you can walk there, so it is also a great place to practice. Old Meisho Town is a local town, not a downtown area. The neighborhood is not downtown, so there is nothing. Recommended for those who are interested in living in the countryside and relocating to two areas, or those who are considering it.

8weeks Quriu ~ One floor charter with a view of the autumn leaves of Yatsugatake ~ Ideal for autumn hiking and winter skiing

If you go straight on the narrow road of the idyllic village and feel the majestic Yatsugatake nature on your left, 8 weeks Quriu is almost there. With its stone exterior, Villa is nostalgic and open. I took over the building, which has been a small hotel for 20 years, and has made a new start as an entire one-floor accommodation. Guests are free to use the ground floor of the building. The second floor is the host's residential space, but the entrance is separated completely.I live with my 6-year-old daughter, so you can rest assured that small children can also stay here. *・*・*・*・*・*・*・*・*・*・*・*・*・*・*・*・*・*・*・* Our family moved from the city to Fujimicho in 2020. In 2023, the private villa "8 weeks Fujimi" was born, and we will welcome you in a new style of accommodation this year. As we were, we would appreciate it if you could feel that "I want to continue to live here".
