Cottage holiday rentals in Tatham

We had a wonderful stay in this cottage. The setting is perfect with canal walks straight from the door. The cottage is light, spacious and beautifully decorated. The enclosed garden is very private and there was plenty of space for our dog to explore. Amy was a great host. She provided everything we needed and left us an amazing box of goodies. We would highly recommend this property and would love to stay again.

Our second time at the gorgeous Preston Mill Loft and it was just as wonderful as we remember. Super dog friendly, the upgraded hot tub is IMMENSE, comfy bed, welcoming hosts, beautiful scenery, well stocked kitchen. The lot. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Wonderfully peaceful location. Holly Toft is a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We paticularly appreciated how much care was given to ensuring the hot tub was spotlessly clean and freshly filled for our arrival. Kathryn is a superb host who clearly cares a lot about her guests. Wonderful 5-night stay at Chestnut Cottage after Rob completed the Great Glen Way & West Highland Way in 6 days! @freemanwalking on YouTube 😀 The hot tub was a real treat for soothing sore muscles. Stunning bay views made the cottage the perfect place to relax. The bed was super comfy, and we loved the little extra touches like the soft robes and complimentary tea, coffee, and milk. Just a short, scenic walk along the promenade to the village for supplies. The weather wasn’t the best, but the cosy cottage more than made up for it. Highly recommend! Thank you Gemma

Booked for our 20th wedding anniversary and used for a base to explore Skipton and a day out in York. Close enough to Skipton to enjoy the town and the night life. The Granary was immaculate. Hot Tub amazing and already planning a second visit. The location is stunning, peaceful and we enjoyed every minute .

Beautiful place and well appointed and to a very good standard. It’s located very close to charming town of Longridge. We went to Stydd Gardens which was just 15 mins away and stunning. Very much recommended. Thank you

Beautiful modern rustic cottage in the countryside, exactly what you want if you want peace, comfort and luxury. Emma & Gregor are amazing! Great communication and little extra treats to greet you when you arrive ! Absolutely recommend!

Booked a couple of nights here with our whippets. A good size and the bed was really fantastic; large and very comfortable. I do like a dark bedroom, and the thing I would add is that black out blinds or curtains would have been the icing on the cake for me. really great little cottage.

Great little bolt hole in the centre of Kendal. Does the job for a few nights, a couple and dog. Close to all local amenities. Furnished really well, very clean, lots of extras. Tight archway to get don with the car, we had a Tesla Y and managed it ok with folded wing mirrors 😉. Well done Gaz, top place 👍👍

We had such a beautiful stay, Sarah's property was just what we needed. We will be back again for certain. The property smelt beautiful the moment you entered the door, it is finished beautifully. The beds are comfortable. The views are magnificent. Local pubs, restaurants and amenities are welcoming and delicious.

The cottage was impeccably clean lovely furnishings very homely beautiful surroundings bed linen clean and fresh beautiful garden / dog friendly the cottage is equipped with everything you may need whilst you stay i would and have recommended to friends and family and we will be back next year !!! My husband, daughter, puppy & I have just stayed here for a long weekend. Nick the host was very helpful & Informative. The cottage was perfect for us, spacious, warm & comfortable. All the additional supplies like toilet rolls etc were an added bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the local amenities. There are plenty of walks and scenery to visit in the area, shame the weather let us down a bit but we made the most of it anyway. We visited the local pub The Malt Shovel and well worth going, the food was delicious and home cooked, lovely family community.

Delph Cottage is the most delightful, cosy, cottage. It is the perfect place to stay for a visit to Great Harwood, the surrounding towns, or to explore the beautiful local countryside or the Ribble Valley. Delph Cottage itself is beautifully presented and maintained. It remains in the same pristine condition as when I first stayed there three years ago. Instructions for all the appliances, plus heating, wi-fi, etc, are simple and easy to follow, and everything works perfectly. All the kitchenware (crockery, cutlery, utensils, glassware, etc) remain like new. The whole cottage is beautifully maintained, and I cannot praise or rate it highly enough. It is the most perfect place to stay. It was a privilege to stay there. I look forward to my next visit. Well done and thank you.

Absolutely delightful place to stay. Lots of walks, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Our dog loved the large, enclosed garden. It was also lovely and relaxing for us, and really private. Will definitely return.

Stayed for a couple of nights to explore the Dales. Lovely, cute cottage with everything you’d need. Private garden was ideal for the dog to stretch his legs and some fantastic walks literally from the doorstep. Carole was always on hand for advice and local knowledge! Would definitely come back and stay again

Good location for our trip to the Lakes and Grange over sands. Near Kendal with plenty of shops. Quiet lane to walk the dogs. Private parking. The place itself was great. A welcome bit of milk and other treats, thoughtfully done. Linen and towels fresh and comfy beds. High ceiling, cool for the dogs. Kitchen well provisioned. Kirsty was around and gave us some local tips. Private garden area. Easy check in and out. Even details down to the nice hand soap! Thanks for everything!

What a lovely place this is. Thank you so much David 😊 would definitely recommend this place, it's so cute. We'd also recommended local places Riverhead brewery, peel st social, zapato brewery, handmade bakery. Walks on the doorstep, canal on the doorstep too. Absolutely beautiful surroundings. Rogers bakery too but it's only open Saturdays and we missed it.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights at Crook a Beck Barn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property. It is well equipped, with a great kitchen, plenty of wardrobe space and a large walk in shower alongside a large bath. It is in a peaceful setting with beautiful views and has all levels of walks available straight from the property. We enjoyed the extras especially the lemon drizzle cake made by Judith. We will definitely books this property again on our next visit to Patterdale.

A real gem. It’s better than the photos show. Full of character yet modern standards and amenities. Quality furnishings and kitchen equipment. Excellent mattress, soft, comfortable sheets and towels. So lovely that it’s family owned from someone born and still living in the area. Everything has been thought through so well equipped. Can’t wait to come back. We loved every minute of our stay. It’s in our top 5 of places we’ve stayed in. Thank you

We had a great stay at Bluebell cottage - the location is fantastic- Langcliffe is beautiful and there are plenty of walks from the doorstep. The cottage itself is clean and comfortable and has everything you need. The garden is lovely but note if you have an adventurous dog the gate doesn't fasten shut fully so it's not 100% secure. Richard is a very friendly host but message response times were very slow when we had an issue with the WiFi not working. Overall I would recommend staying at the cottage.

Peaceful getaway tucked away from the world, fabulous bathroom without standing views from the bathtub. Spacious living room with modern appliances in kitchen.

Sue and I stayed at Drakes Cottage 3rd to 6th June 2025 and it was wonderful. The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing break. Cartmel is only a few minutes away and has some lovely eateries. There is lots to see in the local area and we particularly liked Levens Hall and Grange over Sands. There is a comprehensive folder of information in the cottage which will direct you to other areas to visit and restaurants in the vicinity. This is our 2nd visit and it is highly recommended.
