This is a very cute and comfy home that is located in a great location just a few blocks from downtown Oscoda, the beautiful Au Sable River, and incredible Lake Huron. It's decorated n a fun retro / vintage style and is very cozy. Includes new central air conditioning, washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, streaming television, and a private bonfire ring outside! The place was great! It's on the small side, but yet plenty of room. Very clean and easy entry upon arrival. Just a side note. The oven works great, but when you preheat, do not open the oven for 15 minutes, otherwise, a safety feature will shut it off.. lol learned by lesson. Tina was awesome with quick responses on any questions! I would recommend this place to anyone!

We cannot say enough good things about John and Hollys place! The house was perfect, they had books, movies, extras pillows, blankets, lots of cook wear, beach chairs, a beach wagon, inside games, and outside games! The real show stopped was the amazing beach! I’ve never seen such a nice like beach, it was more like the ocean! They had 2 decks for us to enjoy with patio furniture and a propane grill! John and Holly were fast to respond to any questions and they were so friendly, it really felt like we were staying at a friend’s house for the week! The location was great we had so much fun exploring the area. My husband went up to Greenbush and got some fresh made donuts on Saturday morning. We really liked the Hill top restaurant and Gs pizza Oscoda. The water was cold in June but we still swam every day! We would definitely book again! Thanks for the great stay!

Beautiful place! Peaceful, great lake access, the water front was so nice to wake up to each morning. The place is really decorated and put together nicely. Friendly neighbors, and community. We will return to stay longer and maybe rent a boot or jet skies. Bed rooms are comfy and the living area. The kitchen has all you need, pans, dishes. If you have little ones bring cups :) Only one thing, when you make your way down the path to the side entrance, be careful. The path steps down just before you reach the door. No one was hurt, but and older person may not see it, especially at night. I highly recommend this for a famliy or romantic get away. Thank you, Rosemarie, Redford MI

Jody is the ultimate host. She is a wonderful person and is there for you if you have any concerns. This was our second time at her house as we stayed there last year also. We feel like we’re at our home when we’re there. Just something about it like sitting and eating in the beautiful big back yard on the deck, or sitting at the kitchen table looking at Lake Huron and the back woods. It makes you appreciate being with your family and just enjoying each other’s company.
