Come join us on our secluded 5 acres of Pinon trees with the convenience of being 5 minutes from town. This cottage is unique with custom tile work, and hand made barn doors. Enjoy the gorgeous mountain views, and watch the wildlife roam the property while you sip on a good ol' cup-a-joe. Your host family lives on property and is happy to help should you need anything, while ensuring that you have the privacy you'd like. We accept dogs, but cannot accept cats due to other guests allergies.

Buckskin Getaway

Modern country home (entire lower level, 1200 sq. feet) with magnificent views of the West Elk Mountains. Excellent internet (fiber optic) that runs at about 145 mbps. The area is well known for dark skies and great star gazing. Unlimited outdoor activities, superb wine tasting at local vineyards and easy access to Telluride, Aspen and Crested Butte. Very private space in lower level with walkout patio. Spacious bedroom has one queen bed. Two twin beds are in the oversized common space.

Experience staying in an original late 1800's one room log cabin restored and upgraded with all the modern comforts and amenities in a safe, quiet neighborhood. You'll find a Queen bed with ample storage underneath, a full size futon couch and a kitchen that will meet your needs for you're visit. Within a block radius there's 4 restaurants, hockey rink, city parks and 3 blocks to bus stop (free bus to Crested Butte), down town Gunnison and 6 blocks to Western State Colorado University.

The Glass Deckhouse (North Peak View)

Take a break and explore 35+ wooded acres surrounded by national forest at 8,000 feet in the sunny Rocky Mountains. A wonderful place for couples, friends, & solo travelers to relax and adventure in a comfortable modern cabin all <15 mins from historic downtown Salida, CO. We designed the deckhouse with 30+ square foot window walls on both sides which open up to a view over a forested mountain valley. We've worked hard designing + curating the glass deckhouse. Central location perfectly suited for a basecamp to adventure in the Gunnison Valley. Among guest favorites is the full sized washer and dryer to freshen up from the day’s excursion. Those wishing to bring a pet, please contact host rather than instant book. Pets must accompany guests whenever leaving loft.
