Canyon Wren Haven: A Romantic Retreat for Couples

A couples’ retreat, the Canyon Wren Cottage is sculpted into bedrock amongst pinion pines and old growth mountain mahogany brush. A picturesque erosion sculpted sandstone monolith rises four stories at the edge of the yard, just beyond the cottage. The approach to the cottage from Teasdale Road, is down a short lane crossing through woodland fringed meadow with a wetland on one side and alfalfa cultivation on the other. The backdrop is beautiful rock form, including a large balanced rock.

Tucked away in a central location near the intersection of highway 12 and 24 . Disc golf course on the property. Read the messages I send or you might get lost trying to find the cabin. From a distance the Tiny Home looks kinda ... tiny - but once inside, there's a feeling of spaciousness and light - high ceilings and lots of windows. It is really ideal for 1-2 people, but there's a comfy sofa bed as well for a 3rd person, and a long padded bench for a fourth. Large deck for stargazing!

We hope you enjoy our space. We provide you with oatmeal and farm fresh eggs as the greens allow. There is private entrance to a kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom all private. We have area that if you need to park a truck and trailer for enjoying our mountains. We own a kennel on the property. This is a great place to stay and have your pet close for a minimal fee to go for a walk with you. We request that your pets stay in the kennel area to help keep cleaning costs down.
