This is my familys hide-away on the Isle of Wight in the beautiful Freshwater Bay. We tried to make it as cosy and welcoming as possible. It's a 2 bed that can sleep 5 and has an enclosed garden at the front and it's own parking space. It's a 5 min walk from the Bay and a 10 min walk from Freshwater town. Anywhere on the island is under an hour away by car. There's a local shop + bar minutes walk away and a large supermarket under 5 min drive. Everything you need for a relaxing island getaway!

The cottage was a beautiful and peaceful place to be at the end of the day after a long walk. Clare made us feel welcome with little things such as milk in the fridge, butter and jam, biscuits…etc. It feels very homely, clean and welcoming. As soon as I stepped in I didn’t want to leave the place! Great location too with cafés close by to have breakfast or lunch and places for drinks and dinner. We had the opportunity to check in early and leave later which made our stay longer, which was well appreciated. I would recommend it to friends and family.

Julie was the most fantastic host and could not have been more accommodating. We enjoyed the treats that she left for us and was very helpful if we needed any advice. The accommodation was very comfy and well equipped, and there is a lovely garden to sit and relax in, also plenty of shade if you want to keep out of the sun. A lovely cottage, with all the amenities and comfy beds in a great location. We really enjoyed our 5 night stay and, in particular, the view of the sea, watching the boats sail by, the rabbits and pheasants on the lawn, the woodland walk/costal walks, quirky shops at the fort, being on Yarmouth's doorstep, lighting a real fire at night and sleeping peacfully after a day exploring the beautiful Isle of Wight. A big thank you to our hosts for arranging discounted ferry tickets and a lovely welcome pack. We may be back for more of the same!

This is the most luxurious Airbnb we have ever stayed. The house is beautifully designed and decorated, has everything we needed and is well equipped with all the brand new appliances. All my friends and children enjoyed our stay including the jacuzzi, sauna, playroom and the lovely garden. Nicola has been extremely helpful and welcoming, giving us plenty of instruction for the area and the house without us asking for them. We are well informed of the service and maintenance planned for the house as well. Thank you.
