We booked a 3 night stay at this beautiful home to celebrate my mother’s 70th birthday. The house was as described, if anything, slightly bigger than the photos, especially with the garden. Also, immaculately clean and well presented. This house was perfect for accommodating our party of 10. With the house being set back and away from the road and noise, we were able to make good use of the large private garden. We put up a badminton set and mini football goals so the kids loved the space. We also enjoyed the hot tub. As per the recommendation in the info we received from Leigh before our trip, we pre-booked for Sunday lunch at Longlands Pub & Restaurant, which was lovely and within walking distance. All in all, a great trip was had and we will be back!

Great place to stay! Stopped here with my 2 young children for 3 nights and found this a great base to get to the likes of Windermere, Morecambe and also Blackpool. Lodge was spacious with good facilities including very comfy beds and a powerful shower. Everything was very clean. The site is very peaceful which was nice to be able to walk around the site and enjoy a drink near the lake at the bar. Hottub was a bonus to use after a day out. Would definitely stop here again and recommend.

What a fabulous place! Our time at this superb cottage came to an end far too quickly, we could have stayed forever! Mel and Andrew are the perfect hosts - friendly, helpful and welcoming. Attention to detail is what makes this cottage special- from the welcome basket of goodies, the quality of the furnishings and the thoughtful little extras to the glorious views from multiple outdoor areas: hot tub, balcony fire pit… We had planned to do a lot more than we did but to be honest we struggled to leave the cottage! We can’t wait to return.

The site was lovely and the lodge very spacious. Emma was great with communication. There was a lot of spiders and cobwebs inside the accommodation we didn’t mind this but not to everyone’s liking. Great location within a picturesque site.

We totally love it! The cottage is in great condition and the interior is very warm and cute. Full equipped kitchen, cozy living room with huge tv screen, spotless bathroom and toilet and really comfy beds. Joanne and Jon are very helpful and kind which is a massive plus. It’s our first time in the area but we will defiantly come back!

absolutely amazing cabin very cosy home from home feel . hot tub was amazing after long days walking the lakes. the cabin was lovely and clean. beds was really comfortable and clean linen. the little added bits like washing up liquid hand wash ect was such a bonus.

Our family had a fabulous stay at Jane’s lodge. It’s a well looked after accommodation where the owners are clearly very proud of what they have and this shines through, it is lovely internally and externally. It is much more spacious than we expected with everything you need. The location was ideal for little day trips into the lakes. Local recommendations and a very attentive, proactive and friendly host. Would definitely consider visiting again and highly recommend for anyone considering a holiday.
